    All distinctive features such as eyes, nose, hair, and forehead must be clearly visible. Photographs with closed eyes will not be accepted.
    It must be a half-bust photo so that the shoulders of the candidate must be visible.Black and white photographs will not be accepted

    TANCET 2023: How to Upload Photo, Signature & Other Documents?

    Given below are all the steps to upload photos, signatures, and other documents while filling TANCET Application form.

    1. Visit the official website of TANCET
    2. Log in with the registration number and password received by the applicant
    3. Fill in all the details mentioned in the application form
    4. After entering your personal, qualification and work details, proceed towards uploading your photograph
    5. Click on the respective links and browse the location where the scanned images have been saved
    6. Select the file and click on the upload button

    Candidates should note down certain instructions mentioned below for scanning their photographs properly.

    • Set the scanner resolution to a minimum of 200 dpi (dots per inch)
    • Set Color to True Color.
    • File Size should be as per the specification mentioned above. 
    • The image should then be cropped in the scanner to the edge of the photograph/signature. Further, use the upload editor to crop the image to the final size.
    • Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 30KB. If the size of the file is more than 30 KB, then adjust the settings of the scanner.
    • The image file should only be in JPG/ JPEG format. Candidates using MS Office can easily obtain the file in JPEG format and between 20-30 kb by using MS Paint or MS Picture Manager.
    • If you wear glasses make sure that there is no reflection.
    • Adding filters or editing the photograph will result in the cancellation of the application form.

    How to Edit Images Using Online Tools?

    Editing scanned images may degrade the quality of the images. As uploading low-quality images is not acceptable in TANCET Registration, there are a few ways by which you can edit the images as per the required specifications of TANCET 2023.

    Images can be cropped, edited, compressed by available online tools. They are- Pisaca, Free Online Photo Editor, Photo Pea, Luna Pic, Cam Scanner, MS Paint, etc.

    To edit TANCET image through Picasa, follow the below steps:

    1. Open the image on PC
    2. Download Picasa
    3. Go to Crop → Add Aspect Custom Ratio → Add the Dimensions for Width & Height
    4. Make the changes
    5. Save it for uploading.

    Ans. There is no passing grade. It is determined by the cut-off point. The TANCET cut-off is determined by the following factors: Availability of seats Total number of applicants for TANCET Total number of test participants The exam's level of difficulty. TANCET requires a score of 60-65 to achieve the 99%ile. The TANCET percentile score is calculated using the following formula: Percentile Score on the TANCET: (Y/N)*100 In this case, Y represents the total number of test takers with a lower score.
