TANCET Eligibility 2023 is going to be released by Anna University, Chennai on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu. All the candidates planning to appear for TANCET 2023 are advised to check and meet the minimum eligibility criteria.
Candidates belonging to General Category must have a minimum of 50% marks whereas candidates from the reserved category need to obtain at least 45% in the qualifying exam. Note: Aspirants who are in the final year of their degree course or waiting for the result of their bachelor’s degree exams can also appear in TANCET 2023. For this, the candidates will have to submit the pass certificate of their degree course at the time of the verification round of the admission process. And, the certificate must present on or before the last date set by the authority.

Ans. No, to opt for the MTech program through the entrance examination, you need to secure more than or at least 45% of marks in aggregate. Securing less than the given percentage of marks in the final year degree exam will be disqualified.
Ques. I have completed my B.Pharm by obtaining 55% of marks in aggregate. Can I apply for the MBA program to appear in TANCET 2023?
Ans. Yes, with this percentage of marks in total you can apply for the MBA program.
Ques. What if I apply for TANCET 2023 at the time of pursuing my final year degree courses and after the submission of the application form receive the scorecard with below 45% of marks? Am I still eligible to appear in the test?
Ans. No, you can apply for the entrance examination at the time of pursuing your final year degree program but you must ensure that you meet the basic eligibility criteria. Without securing the minimum eligibility criteria can lead your application to rejection. So, it is important for all the candidates from any category to have the minimum percentage of marks in their degree course and also meet all the eligibility criteria.

Ans. Yes, candidates from any state can appear in the entrance examination. There is no restriction for that.
Ques. I am from Mumbai. I would like to opt for M.Arch through TANCET 2023. Do I need to present any documents to apply for this entrance test?
Ans. Yes, to apply for this examination you will have to present a valid identity proof issued by the Government. It is the most important documents that you will have to present to sit for the exam.
Ques. I have completed my higher secondary and the graduation program in the science stream but without the subject Mathematics. As per TANCET Eligibility 2023, can I apply for the MCA program?
Ans. No, to be eligible for the MCA program you need to qualify for your 10+2 level board exam or degree course with the subject of Mathematics. Qualifying these exams without this subject will strictly reject your application form. This subject is mandatory for all candidates who want to pursue the MCA program through TANCET 2023.

Ans. No, to apply for the entrance examination, you need to secure not less than 50% of marks in total in aggregate. This percentage is mandatory for all the candidates from the General category.
Ques. I am from Tripura. I have completed my graduation with Computer Science honors. And secured 55% of marks in aggregate. Am I eligible to apply for TANCET 2023? Do I need to submit any state domicile certificate to apply for TANCET 2023 to pursue the MCA program?
Ans. Yes, you are eligible to apply for this entrance examination, and you do not need to submit any state domicile certificate to prove the eligibility criteria. Only you need to submit a valid ID proof issued by the Government.
Ques. What if I forgot to submit the identity proof as proof of my eligibility criteria to sit for TANCET 2023? Can I submit it after the exam and the last round of the admission process?
Ans. No, to appear in the entrance examination, you need to submit the ID proof. And, this is mandatory for all. If you do not submit it at the right time your application process will be canceled and you will not receive the admit card for the entrance examination.

Ans. The TANCET cut off is calculated on the basis of the following factors: The difficulty level of the exam ( GATE / TANCET). Number of applicants in the exam. Total number of seats on offer for various institutes. Category for which admission is desired. Previous year's cutoff trends. Ans. There is no passing grade. It is determined by the cut-off point. The TANCET cut-off is determined by the following factors: Availability of seats Total number of applicants for TANCET Total number of test participants The exam's level of difficulty. TANCET requires a score of 60-65 to achieve the 99%ile. The TANCET percentile score is calculated using the following formula: Percentile Score on the TANCET: (Y/N)*100 In this case, Y represents the total number of test takers with a lower score.
