BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2023: Minimum Qualification, Marks & Direct Admission

BITSAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria enables Class 12th candidates with 75% marks in PCM or PCB to apply for the exam. Along with that candidates must have scored an individual score of 60% in all the required subjects.
- Only students who will qualify Class 12th in 2023 or have cleared Class 12th in 2022 are eligible to fill BITSAT Application Form 2023.
- Candidates planning to appear for B.Pharm will also have to fulfill the same eligibility criteria.
- Also, admission to all the students who have obtained first ranks in their respective board examinations are eligibile for the direct admissions.
Students must note that admissions to BITS are made purely on the basis of merit. The merit position of a candidate is based on BITSAT scores. However, the eligibility for admission is subject to fulfilling the minimum requirements of marks, education qualification and the required mandatory subjects.

- For admission to any of the First Degree programmes at BITS campuses except B.Pharm candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized central or state board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) with adequate proficiency in English.

- For admission to B.Pharm: Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) with adequate proficiency in English.
- However, candidates with Mathematics as one of the subjects can also apply for admissions to B.Pharm program.

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2023: For Board Toppers
- BITS Pilani assures guaranteed admission to all the students who have obtained first ranks in their respective board examinations.
- 1st rank students of all the central and state boards in India for the year 2023 will be given direct admission to the program of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT 2023 score as per the eligibility criteria.
BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2023: For International Applicants
Applicants with a passport and valid SAT scores are eligible to apply for BITSAT. Eligibility Criteria for international applicants have been mentioned below:
- International applicants must appear for Grade 12 (qualifying) examination, Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) and SAT subject tests (in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics Level 2)
- International applicants must request College Board to send SAT scores to BITS-Pilani (DI code: 7759–BITS Pilani)

Ans. Based on BITSAT 2023 eligibility criteria you are not eligible for BITSAT 2023. As per the eligibility criteria for the exam students who have completed Class 12th in 2020 or appearing in 2023 are only eligible for admission. Anyone who has completed 12th in or before 2019 are ineligible.

Ans. No, you cannot appear for BISTAT exam again. Once a student is admitted to any of the BITS Campuses then BITSAT 2023 eligibility critiera does not allow any candidate to reappear for the exam. Students who are appearing for 12th class in 2023 or who have passed 12th class in 2020 are eligible to appear for BITSAT 2023.
Ques. Can I apply for B.Pharm in BITS Goa Campus?
Ans. No, you cannot apply since B.Pharm is not offered at BITS Goa. However, candidates can apply for B.Pharm in BITS Pilani and Hyderabad. Candidates are advised to go through the list of courses offered at all the campuses of BITS.

Ans. There is no hard age limit for BITSAT 2023. However, candidates must have passed their 12th class exams in 2021 or 2023. Those who have completed their 12th class exams before that are not eligible for the exam.

Ans. International applicants have the same BITSAT eligibility criteria as national candidates ones when it comes to marks acquired.
