BCE offers a Full Time B.Tech course in a variety of specializations. The details of the course are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the B.Tech course are required to meet the following criteria:

• All applicants are required to have passed 10+2 with a minimum 45% in aggregate, with Physics and Mathematics as well as Biotechnology/Chemistry/Biology.
• Merit cut off is 40% for SC/ST candidates. 
• Applicants are also required to have a valid score in the BCECE entrance exam.
• Candidates who have not yet received their 10+2 scores are allowed to apply and will be granted provisional admission until the submission of their scores.

Selection Criteria

• Admission to the B.Tech course is conducted on the basis of the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE).
• Although admissions are generally conducted on the basis of the BCECE course, admissions to the B.Tech course for the year 2020 will be taken on the basis of the candidate’s JEE Main score.

How to Apply for B.Tech?

Although admissions are generally conducted on the basis of the BCECE course, admissions to the B.Tech course for the year 2020 will be taken on the basis of the candidates JEE Main score. Application to the B.Tech is conducted Online through the Official Website of the College. Candidates are required to apply with their JEE Main scorecard. Applicants are advised to follow the steps given below:

• Visit the Official Website of the College and access the Admissions Portal.
• Fill in the Application Form with the relevant personal information and academic details.
• The college will then release a Merit List of the selected candidates
• Selected candidates are then required to visit the campus and submit the copies of the necessary Certificates and Documents, along with Passport Size Photographs.

JEE Mains

The application fee for taking this exam varies with the type of candidature. The application fee is INR 650 (general category) and INR 325 (reserved category). The following section throws light on the requirements and the process of registration for JEE Mains.

Documents Required

• Scanned and recent photograph coloured or black/white (but clear contrast) JPG/JPEG format. Size should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
• Scanned signature in JPG/JPEG format. Size should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.

• Register by giving your personal details, to generate a user id and password.
• The application number will be generated after submitting the details for registration.
