Which college is better for electrical engineering: Vishwakarma or PDPU?

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) is one of the renowned private universities located in Gandhinagar. It is ranked 177 by NIRF for BTech. The university offers a BTech for Electrical Engineering and the admission is through JEE Mains. PDPU charges 9.73 lakhs for BTech courses. Vishwakarma Govt. Engineering College is recognized by AICTE and administered by DTE Gujarat. It offers a BE program in Electrical Engineering and admission to the program is made on the basis of the JEE Main score or GUJCET score. The course fee is INR 6,000. Faculty: PDPU: The teaching quality is great at PDPU and the course curriculum is updated. Students get to learn about the recent advances in the field of technology from frequent industrial visits which is one of the advantages. Vishwakarma Govt. Engineering College: The faculty at Vishwakarma Govt. Engineering College is highly qualified. The course curriculum is updated and is not the traditional one followed in the majority of universities. Placement: PDPU: Top companies like Honeywell, UOP, L&T technology services, torrent Power, Jubilant life sciences, Byjus, torrent gas, Shell, Adani power, Coromandel international, and many more companies are some of the top recruiters to participate in the placement drive of PDPU. About 65% of the students got placed from the college with the highest salary INR 10 lacs per annum. Vishwakarma Govt. Engineering College: Placements at Vishwakarma are very precise. Over a hundred companies attended the college for offering jobs to students in the year 2019. Some of the top recruiters were Nvidia, Amazon, Whirlpool, cognizant, etc. Infrastructure: PDPU: Campus facilities at PDPU are GREAT. Engineering College: Wi-Fi facility is not provided by Vishwakarma Govt. Engineering College but well-equipped labs are available and classrooms are huge. Comprehensive Review - Exploring the pros and cons of Vishwakarma Government Engineering College

Remarks:

The admission process in Vishwakarma Government Engineering College , Ahmedabad is mainly conducted on the basis of 2 exams i.e. 12th Board exams and GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Exam). The admission is considered on the basis of marks scored at a ratio of 50% each of these exams. Then, the applicant needs to apply in ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses) and after some time a all state merit rank is generated of the student. The student needs to fill in his/her choice of college / university in the ACPC website. On the basis of this merit rank, a cutoff list is generated for each college. If a student falls under the cutoff of any college (which was filled by the student in choice filling), the student needs to pay a token fee (20,000 rupees for self financed colleges and 1500 rupees for government colleges) to guareentee their admission.

Remarks:

Admission by entrance exam GUJCET and through acpc rank and then you got rank and branch wise cut off and you got branch. If you have a rank under 1500 and the computer branch cut-off is under then you got admission to the computer engineering branch.

Vishwakarma Government Engineering College

Remarks:

Firstly I completed my 12th boards and got good marks and along with it, I was given the GUJCET which is a Gujarat entrance exam. So, the Cut-off for admission in the colleges held by ACPC in Gujarat and there was ranking decided by the 50% of Board marks and 50% of GUJCET. So, I got a chance in a government college in the first round and in the ECE stream.
