VGEC Ahmedabad BE admission 2024 is based on the GUJCET exam. The GUJCET exam 2024 dates are out. The application form is scheduled to be released in February 2024. The exam will take place on April 02, 2024.
VGEC Ahmedabad MTech Admissions are based on the GATE 2024 score. The registration process for GATE is over and the admit card will be released on January 03 onwards. GATE 2024 will occur on 03, 04, and 10, 11 February 2024.

Vishwakarma Government Engineering College (VGEC), Ahmedabad was established in August 1994. This institute is recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Institute of Engineers (India). The college is administrated by Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar and is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University. VGEC shifted to its own campus at Chandkheda, Ahmedabad in the year 2004.

Vishwakarma Government Engineering College (VGEC) offers UG programs in Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Power Electronics Engineering. VGEC also offers PG programs in Chemical Engineering and Electronics & Communications Engineering.

Eligibility: A candidate shall have passed the Qualifying Examination with the minimum eligibility of 10+2 for UG courses and graduation degree for PG courses.

VGEC B.E. Admission 2023

For the admission to BE courses in various streams, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths or its equivalent with minimum qualifying marks.

Admission in BE programs is strictly through the merit list and rank scored in GUJCET. GUJCET is conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) for admissions to B.Tech and BE programs offered by various engineering institutes in Gujarat.

Counseling will be organized after the result announcement of GUJCET and JEE Mains. Admission will be decided on the basis of merit and counseling result.

GUJCET will be conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) for admissions to B.Tech and BE programs offered by various engineering institutes in Gujarat.
Candidates can also seek admission to B.E course on the basis of JEE Mains score.
In certain Institutes/Universities, 50% of the seats in Degree Engineering will be filled through the GUJCET result after the merit list is calculated. The remaining 50% seats, which are to be filled on All India basis, will be done through the results of JEE Main.

VGEC M.E. Admission 2023

VGEC offers M.E in 2 specializations. Candidates who have passed the prescribed qualifying (BE/B.Tech) examination with required percentage of the marks can apply for the course. Candidates can apply for an M.E course with valid GATE score and attend the interview if they get shortlisted.

Selection of ME courses is done on the basis of marks obtained in Graduation with relevant streams.

Scholarships

Meritorious and deserving students will get scholarships as per government rules. A candidate seeking admission on reserved seat shall be required to produce a Certificate of inclusion in the concerned category, provided that the candidate belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes shall be required to produce a certificate to the effect of non-inclusion in Creamy Layer in addition to the caste certificate.

Comprehensive Review - Exploring the pros and cons of Vishwakarma Government Engineering College

Remarks:

The admission process in Vishwakarma Government Engineering College , Ahmedabad is mainly conducted on the basis of 2 exams i.e. 12th Board exams and GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Exam). The admission is considered on the basis of marks scored at a ratio of 50% each of these exams. Then, the applicant needs to apply in ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses) and after some time a all state merit rank is generated of the student. The student needs to fill in his/her choice of college / university in the ACPC website. On the basis of this merit rank, a cutoff list is generated for each college. If a student falls under the cutoff of any college (which was filled by the student in choice filling), the student needs to pay a token fee (20,000 rupees for self financed colleges and 1500 rupees for government colleges) to guareentee their admission.

Eligibility of the course: 12th board pr% + gujcet mark combined merit list made the acpc rank after searching clg and cute-off engineering have 3 chance you have liked field in apply otherwise not eligible.

Remarks:

Admission by entrance exam GUJCET and through acpc rank and then you got rank and branch wise cut off and you got branch. If you have a rank under 1500 and the computer branch cut-off is under then you got admission to the computer engineering branch.

Vishwakarma Government Engineering College

Remarks:

Firstly I completed my 12th boards and got good marks and along with it, I was given the GUJCET which is a Gujarat entrance exam. So, the Cut-off for admission in the colleges held by ACPC in Gujarat and there was ranking decided by the 50% of Board marks and 50% of GUJCET. So, I got a chance in a government college in the first round and in the ECE stream.

I have taken electrical and communication engineering. In this course. The cut-off was down than in other courses. I got the admission through acpc where you can find all the details of colleges and cut-off programs. The admission process is very good.

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) is one of the renowned private universities located in Gandhinagar. It is ranked 177 by NIRF for BTech. The university offers a BTech for Electrical Engineering and the admission is through JEE Mains. PDPU charges 9.73 lakhs for BTech courses.

Vishwakarma Govt. Engineering College is recognized by AICTE and administered by DTE Gujarat. It offers a BE program in Electrical Engineering and admission to the program is made on the basis of the JEE Main score or GUJCET score. The course fee is INR 6,000.

The teaching quality is great at PDPU and the course curriculum is updated.
