Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty members are really friendly and helpful, there it is not the case that teachers will come, teach and go. They make efforts to make learning easy and fun, and they give attention to every student in the class. Most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D., they are highly qualified and experienced. Engineering as we know is a difficult course, but the quality teaching of the professors and the printed notes they provide makes it easy to prepare for the exams.

Ques
Which is better for computer engineering: Vidyalankar Institute of Technology or KJ Somaiya?

● Top Answer By Akhil Desai on 04 Sept 21

Ans
I have friends from both Vidyalankar Institute of Technology and KJ Somaiya. Based on the conversations I had with them, I will suggest you choose KJ Somaiya for a CS degree. Here are some of the reasons why you should prefer KJ CE/IT over Vidyalankar CE /IT. KJ Somaiya is an autonomous institute. So their course curriculum is quite flexible.  Vacations will be quite long. You can utilize this time to do internships in some IT firms.  The CS and IT department of KJ Somaiya has amazing CSI and other councils working for them.  KJ Somaiya has a vast campus. The sports facilities offered at the institute are also quite great.  The placement average for KJSCE is 100% for CS IT branches. As it is an autonomous institute more recruiting companies visit the institute for placements.  Vidyalankar is not a bad choice either. Both colleges have their own advantages. Here is a brief comparison of the two institutes.  Parameters  KJ Somaiya Vidyalankar Institute of Technology Average CTC  5 LPA  4.16 LPA  Highest CTC 18.75 LPA  7 LPA  Major recruiters  Microsoft, IBM, Vodafone TCS, Just Dial, Axis Bank Course fee  11.35 lakhs  6.03 lakhs  You should do your own research on the institute and choose according to your convenience.

Ques
Which is better, electronics at VESIT or electronics at the Vidyalankar Institute of Technology?

● Top Answer By Riyansh Seth on 27 Jul 21

Ans
If in case, you want to focus on your GPAs, then Vidyalankar Institute of Technology can be a good choice because you will have all the required study materials. Some of them include GQs, EQs, and others. Mainly, the professors go around to encourage you in scoring particularly well in your semesters. There is another factor you need to understand. If you are planning to go for acquiring a good knowledge base, then you will also have access to certain topics such as Stack Overflow, Instructables, Hackster, arXiv.org, Ieee Xplore, and several others. You might not receive the knowledge base in either of the institutes, but you can still have a slight edge at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology if you go for a good GPA. Besides, the faculty is supportive and more importantly, encouraging. The labs are well maintained and particularly well equipped as well.

Ans
Vidyalankar Institute of Technology (VIT) is affiliated with the University of Mumbai. The current intake of students this year for the UG program is 780 seats.  The department of electronics engineering from this university has produced some notable alumni. The alumni are currently holding illustrious positions in various MNCs like Apple, Facebook, Oracle, IBM, Intel, etc.  Admission details: The candidate must be from a science stream with a minimum of 50% with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as compulsory subjects.  The allotment of seats would be done based on the marks obtained in MHT CET/ JEE Main. Tabulated below is a brief overview of the institute: No. of seats 120 Course fee INR 1.5 LPA Cutoff MHT CET - 105  JEE Main - 12506 Entrance exam MHT CET/JEE Main Placements: The college has an excellent training and placement department, which guides the students for their placement journey.  Over 378+ students were placed in the 2019-20 year.  The highest package offered was INR 37.5 LPA. The average package offered was INR 4.16 LPA.  The top companies that came for the recruitment are Amazon, IBM, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, TCS, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, etc.  Faculty: The key to a good institute is its faculty, and VIT has an excellent faculty that supports the students in all aspects.  Most of the faculties are Masters or PhD degree holders who have a stronghold of theoretical and practical knowledge.  So, overall Vidyalankar Institute of Technology is good for pursuing electronics engineering.

Ques
Which college is better for CSE or IT engg., Vidyalankar Institute of Technology or Atharva College of Engineering?

● Top Answer By Akash Dasgupta on 12 Jan 21

Ans
Vidyalankar Institute of Technology is not a good option if you are opting for CSE or IT engineering. One of my friends studying there said that it is not a good educational institute and has numerous flaws. Categories Vidyalankar Institute Atharva College Course Fee 5.48-6 lakh 4.8-5.08 lakh Highest CTC 8 LPA 10 LPA Average CTC 5 LPA 5-6 LPA These pointers will make you look deeper into the Vidyalankar Institute as an educational institution - The faculty of Vidyalankar Institute are neither skilled or professional, nor is the course completed on time.  Faculties are not very helpful and do not coordinate well with students. The assignments given in class are not practical or industry oriented. Apart from studies, extracurriculars at Vidyalankar are also not encouraged. Students also cannot be part of clubs or societies.  Curriculum structure and college activities are not up to mark. Attendance is given more importance than knowledge in Vidyalankara, thus it does not match with the students preferences. Only the computer department of Vidyalankar Institute is better among the others. Vidyalankar Institute does not have an extensive alumni. Therefore, choosing the Vidyalankar Institute of Technology would not be a good option for CSE or IT engineering.
