One of my friends studies in IET DAVV and as per him most of the companies visiting both the institutes consequently are Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, Accenture. There are few companies that visit both campuses.
But the IET DAVV placement cell is better than SGSITS. As it has a better placement head. They will help students over getting a job.
Therefore, if you are skeptical about choosing between IET DAVV CSE and SGSITS IT, then choose the former, as it has a better placement record than the latter.
If you are thinking to join the Institute of Engineering and Technology, DAVV, Indore, then it would not be an idle choice. It is better you take a drop and take coaching and then enroll in some other college.
Do not waste your four years of study in IET DAVV or SGSITS. You will graduate from IET DAVV with not a promising placement and salary package. Invest your time and money in good coaching institutes. If you work hard and ready to complete your further studies then your year will not be wasted.
The IET DAVV staffs are friendly, they will get you books and e-learning materials. You will surely go to make good friends here.
Therefore, if you are ready to do hard work, then you will surely have a prosperous career after graduating from IET DAVV
Getting admission in either of SGSITS and IET DAVV requires good JEE main scores. I have a few friends from both institutes so I think I will be able to give you some Idea about the cutoff required. Here is a brief overview of the recent cutoff trend at the institutes.

You can visit the official website to get the detailed information regarding the cutoff. Also, it will be very smart if you do wait for the second round.
The procedure to change your branch varies depending on which year you are currently in. Check the procedures below:
First year:
It must be noted that if you have got a seat under the tuition fee waiver (TFW) scheme then you can't change the branch you are allotted.
Second/third year:
Your branch change totally depends on the vacancy of seats in the branch you want to go for. Generally, some reserved category seats which are remaining vacant get filled at this time because usually all unreserved category seats are already filled after the first year. So, it all depends on your luck!
IET DAVV is a renowned engineering college located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. The college has a good placement record, with many top companies visiting the campus every year to recruit students across various engineering branches.
As for the highest package offered to a student of IET DAVV, according to the latest available information, a student from the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branch received a package of INR 25 lakhs per annum in the 2020-21 placement season. It is worth noting that the highest package offered to a student may vary from year to year, and may also depend on factors such as academic performance, relevant skills and experience, and the requirements of the recruiting company.
Overall, IET DAVV has a good track record when it comes to placements, and its graduates have been recruited by some of the top companies in India and abroad. If you are a student or an aspiring engineer looking to pursue your education at IET DAVV, you can check their official website or contact the placement cell to get the latest information on placements and career opportunities.
One of my friends was a student of IET DAVV, and he has studied Computer Science at this institute.
He once told me that lots of companies came to select candidates from CS and IT stream. If you are in the average category but has good concepts in your subjects (IT and CS), or has sufficient programming skills, then you can easily get the placement in a reputed company. However, if you are not performing well in the other companies, then there is a chance to get placed in the mass recruiter organizations, which is also not a bad option to start a career.
The average CTC for all the branches is approximately 4.25, but here average CTC is considered. This is because the range is hardly started from 3.5 LPA to 12 LPA or 13 LPA in some cases. It is also seen that lot of the companies also provide around 5-6 LPA.
In the following, a brief overview of placement facts of this institute has been given considering the subjects such as CSE, IT, EI, and ET:

Thus, it can be concluded that placement is the plus point in this institute. Nearly 100% placement id is offered by this institute's placement cell to the top MNCs like TCS, Accenture. Infosys, HCL, Capgemani etc.
The hostel facilities are IET DAVV Indore is decent. There is availability of all basic amenities just like any other hostel. The facilities offered include electricity, wifi, mess, and hostel canteen. Bathrooms are common. Students are given shared accommodations.
The hostel area is under CCTV surveillance. The last entry time for hostellers is 10 pm to 10:30 pm.
The Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) considers both the board exam percentage and the JEE Main score for admission to its undergraduate programs in engineering. However, the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to IET-DAVV may vary from year to year and also depend on the category of the student.
Here are some general guidelines:
Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee admission to IET-DAVV. Admission is granted based on merit and the availability of seats in the preferred branch of engineering. It's always a good idea to check the official website of IET-DAVV or contact the admission office for the latest information on eligibility criteria and admission procedures.
With this rank, there is a very low chance of getting admission in IT at IET DAVV. Refer to the table below to get an idea of the JEE Main ranks for B.Tech courses at UIT RGPV :
Round | 2019 Cut-off by rank | 2020 Cut-off by rank |
1 | 753195 | 889185 |
2 | 1139438 | 865884 |
3 | 1044945 | - |
4 | 573899 | - |
However, you can try for UIT RGPV and check if there is a vacant seat in IT.
With a score of 120 in JEE Mains and 91.2% in CBSE, you are fit for the IT or EC branch in IET DAVV in the second round of counseling by DTE.
In the past, students have got the IT/EC branch at such scores or even less. I have a friend who is an alumnus of IET DAVVa and his score was 125 in JEE and 87% in MP board.
There’s a good chance that you will be selected. As for SGSITS, with this rank, you can easily get any branch you like.
Here is the required cutoff for IET DAVV and SGSITS in recent years.
