UIET Kurukshetra also has a dedicated training and placement cell which organizes pre-placement activities for students, to prepare them, and to boost their confidence as well as providing them with job opportunities. The average starting annual salaries in Wipro and Infosys have been 3.25 to 2.5 lakh per annum for 2018-19.

To provide financial assistance to the students belonging to the economically weak section of the society, there are scholarships available like Central Merit Scholarship, State Scholarships, Minority scholarship, to name a few.
But mostly scholarship is provided to students of other backward classes, ST, SC, and OBC.
Also, the PG Scholarship of INR 8000 per month is available to all GATE qualified students except Material Science and Technology.
Few Merit Fellowship, Assistantship is also available to non GATE students of INR 6,000 per month from the TEQIP-II for the duration of the project subject to availability of funds.

One of my friends studied at UIET Kurukshetra University. According to him, it is a terrific institute that provides exceptional placement opportunities.
- The faculty here are highly experienced.
- Students of UIET are employed in the army, ISRO, BARC, and many PSUs.
- For CSE and ECE departments, the placement opportunities are offered to 50% of the batch. The major recruiter here is Infosys, offering an average package of 3.5 LPA.
- You can also try for off-campus recruitment or prepare for GATE.
- In the Biotech department, around 15% of the students receive placements in several startups. An average package of 3 LPA is offered.
