One of my friends studied at UIET Kurukshetra University. According to him, it is a terrific institute that provides exceptional placement opportunities.
If you are unable to get admissions in any of the IIT, NITs, IIITs, DTU, or in top private engineering colleges such as VIT, BITS then you may opt for UIET KUK without any further hesitation.
Chandigarh University (CU), the youngest university to be ranked by NIRF. It is placed at 84th in the NIRF ranking of 2020 for engineering institutes. The university has also got NAAC A+ accreditation, which gives it international recognition.
Studying at CU as one of its students has its own perks and benefits. Students and teachers from not only CU but other universities also know the value of a CU degree in your resume.

Without a doubt, CU is far better than UIET KUK for the B.E. Mechanical Engineering course. The brand name of CU is enough to add feathers to your resume. The best part about CU is that it is an entirely student-oriented university.
A few perks of CU which gives it an upper hand over UIET KUK are listed below:
The Mechanical Engineering (ME) from CU is the most promising program to take. However, a disadvantage of CU is the fee structure. The fees for the BE in Mechanical Engineering is Rs.6.4 Lakh and the fees for B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in UIET KUK is Rs. 4.2 Lakh. The quality of education is unbeatable in CU. They provide a better engineering education than UIET KUK.
