What I Liked

The college faculties are very friendly.They are more like mentors to us
The atmosphere is very calm. There are people from different states also in different districts
The Hostels are pretty Clean . And affordable

What I didn’t like

There is nothing wrong about tkmce but I think we should improve our own skills to study
Programs or events are conducted in the middle of exams
There is continuous study time table for 6 hour

Yeah the current autonomy curriculum is very good actually..we can dive into our core subjects in the first year itself .I think the curriculum is perfect for a new scholar .also the frequency and timing of exams are well managed

Have less programs and food is not good in the hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very relevant and very much well prepared. I think this will train me well to go into the competitive marketplace. This is very much made for the competitive world. We have proffessional ethics and universal human values that help me keep my values in proffessional environments.

You should have a clear idea of what you are going to pursue after the four years. This way you can focus on a particular college accordingly for your undergraduate degree.

If you are aspiring to get placed then go for NIT Calicut. Mostly 3 to 5 core companies often visit for chemical engineering branch with very decent packages.
The campus life is worth living at NIT Calicut. You can enjoy various games at the hostel and special evening clubs are designed basically for holistic development.
Another factor that makes NIT Calicut stand out is the politically passive environment where you can fully concentrate on your academics and engross yourself in the academics-related clubs along with some co-curricular activities.

The only disadvantage that NIT Calicut has is the weak alumni network due to the newly formed campus as compared to GEC Thrissur.

Along with the placements, the brand name of NIT when added to your resume can help you immensely for your future professional life. So think twice and consider all the factors before taking final admissions.
