Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women (SVECW) is a privately held autonomous college affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada. The college was set up at Bhimavaram in 2001 by Shri Vishnu Educational Society.

SVECW offers B.Tech with seven specializations under it and M.Tech courses. The college also offers an MBA program. The number of seats available under B.Tech courses ranges from 60-180, while that for M.Tech and MBA courses is fixed at 18 and 60 respectively.

The mode of application is offline. Students have to register with the college administrative office with details of their intermediate or degree results.
Candidates should have passed 10+2 in Science stream for pursuing B.Tech and a graduate degree in the concerned disciplines for PG programs.
B.Tech admission are based on the rank obtained in Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by Andhra Pradesh State government.
M.Tech admission are based on the rank obtained in Graduate Aptitude Test (GATE) conducted by Indian Institute of Technology or Post Graduate Engineering Common Engineering Test (PGECET) conducted by Andhra Pradesh State government.
MBA admission are based on rank in Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) conducted by Andhra Pradesh government.

SVECW B.Tech Admission 2023

SVECW, Bhimavaram offers B.Tech. course with seven specializations. The minimum eligibility is 50% marks in Science stream with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. in 10+2 level examinations.

Candidates are selected on the basis of their EAMCET rank. EAMCET is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

Admission is done either through EAMCET counselling or by enrolment with Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women, Bhimavaram.

SVECW M.Tech Admission 2023

SVECW offers five specializations under its M.Tech courses. The minimum eligibility to M.Tech courses is a valid BE, B.Sc or B.Tech degree from a recognized university.

The selection is based on GATE or PGECET ranks of candidates. GATE is conducted at the national level by IITs for admission in engineering courses. PGECET is conducted by Andhra University on behalf of APSCHE for admission in engineering courses and is a state-level examination.

Admission to SVECW is either through GATE or PGECET counselling or by enrolment with Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women, Bhimavaram.

To apply to M.Tech courses, candidates are required to contact the administrative office of SVECW and register with their degree exam results memo.

SVECW MBA Admission 2023

The college also offers an MBA program. The minimum eligibility for admission to this course is 50% marks in graduation degree.

Admission is done on the basis of a valid ICET score. ICET is a state-level common entrance test conducted by Shri Venkateshwara University, Tirupati on behalf of APSCHE for admission in MBA.

State-level counselling or direct enrollment with the college can help candidates secure a seat in SVECW MBA course.

SVECW Application Process

The mode of application of any course in SVECW is offline. Candidates need to contact the administrative office of SVECW and register for enrollment by submitting intermediate/degree result details.

For EAMCET application, visit the official website of EAMCET and fill in and submit the online application after paying examination fees of INR 507.

For PGECET application, register at the official website and after payment of application fees (Gen: INR 800; SC/ST: INR 400).

For GATE application, visit the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) and submit the application form online after payment of application fees online (Gen: INR 1500; SC/ST/PwD: INR 750).

For ICET application, apply on the official website after making an online payment of INR 450. Payment can also be done at AP Online centers.

Remarks:

Firstly I took the written Eamcet entrance exam immediately after completion of my 12th class. I out my application form at the local net center on 22 Jan 2021, and they took around 500 rupees. As I am a BC candidate, there is a caste reservation.

Remarks:

Eligibility of the Course is to pass in 12th standard exams. I got the seat in my college by writing a common entrance test AP EAPCET. The improvement that i want to see in the admission process is to give students seat only depending upon their marks but not other reasons
