Review on NMIT(Bengaluru)

Campus Life:

The class consists of a teaching board and a projector. Each class can accommodate around 55-60 students. There are many sports opportunities. Mainly, basketball, football, cricket, badminton, throwball, volleyball, and much more. There are many clubs such as music, fashion, hack, tech, literacy, and dance, and are active in participating in various events. The library consists of 44,000 books for each department and also consists of a reference room that is for studying and has wifi.

There is an annual fest called anadyantha and it is usually conducted during the month of March or April All the required books are available in the library though some are in a bad condition. The classroom has all the basic amenities and a projector.

Campus Life:

There are many fests which keep happening, like anadyanta, hackathons, flashmob and many more, most of the books are available in the library with ease, they're are many clubs, and lots of exposure to the outside world, like Ecell, flashmobs, music clubs, sports clubs, tech clubs and you can name it all. Amenities in classrooms are good too, have the basic stuff.

Life at NMIT

Hostel Facilities:

Hostels are there for both girls and boys with good facilities like 3 in each room and good wifi speed and hit the water to bath Meals are unlimited in the mess and the menu changes every day. Registration can be done in the college itself. I'm staying in the college hostel only.

Campus Life:

ANAADYANTA is the name of the fest that occurs every year in our college it's soo good that we can enjoy ourselves a lot in the three days of the fest. And in summer it mostly happens. We have a big library with a good collection of books. Good and neat classrooms. We can also play sports and games and tournaments will also happen every year. Many clubs like games club and music club etc.. are there in college run by students.

Over all experience of NMIT

Campus Life:

The student body on campus is excellent. Connectivity to the city is really bad; we have to pay a lot for a rickshaw to take us to the main road, which is 3 kilometers from the GATE campus. The campus is surrounded by woodland and open space and is a really tranquil environment. Our college festival, ANAADYANTA, is one of the greatest in Bengaluru.

Hostel rooms are provided with a table, cupboard, and bed. It is two sharing for freshers and from the second it is three sharing. The meal is quite good and very hygienic. But after 3 months you get bored with hostel meals and start eating out. Hostel fees are affordable at 1.5 lakhs per year including mess

Our annual fest is Anadyanta. It is one of the huge fests in South India. Superstars like Neha Kakkar, Upendra, etc have arrived at the fest. It is conducted every year with huge arrangements. Without any doubt, Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology has several attributes that work in its favor. It is the youngest institution to gain autonomy that is situated 25 km away from the city and there is no traffic during early mornings. Many buses from the college help students and staff for commuting but having your own vehicle would be much better. Academics: There are various branches of engineering that are preferred like computer science, electronics and communication, information technology, and mechanical. These four branches have their reputation in the college but computer science is considered best. Faculty: The faculty is well-qualified and delivers various programming languages to the students very accurately, which is one of the most important parts if you are pursuing computer science. They have friendly behavior towards students, and easily give marks to them. If you focus on studies regularly then you will be able to score good grades in your exams. Placements: If you are an average student with a decent grade of 8-10 then you can secure placement offer in service-based companies. If you have good programming knowledge then you can expect to be selected in product-based companies. But they usually offer supporting roles. Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology is an autonomous college whereas Acharya Institute of Technology is VTU affiliated. Both of the colleges have excellent infrastructure, but NMIT is considerably far from the city centre as compared to Acharya. Placement: Students of NMIT get placed into some good companies with some hefty packages. Average packages are around 6 to 10 lacs in NMIT which is good for a tier 2 college. Faculty: The faculty for EC and CS is good in both the colleges. Most of them are PhD holders in their particular field and some are pursuing it.
