You need to pass a 12th/equivalent degree to qualify for admission to NMIT. There is snq quota seat for economically backward people which will reduce your fee drastically. The study holiday given to us between each exam is very less though.
They educate us with both theory and practical knowledge needed for the course. they prepare us for interviews as well. each classroom has a projector. since it is an autonomous college, test papers are created by the faculties which are then evaluated by externals.
There are numerous companies providing internships in the college. many students received internship offers from foreign-based companies as well. Youll get good exposure to the industry all the while by working as an intern.
After 6th sem you can start interviewing for jobs. Placement rate at nmit is 94%. And internships from mncs are provided too. Alot of other activities and certificates provided by the college adds on to the students resume.
You could either join through competitive exams like KCET or COMEDK and receive a recession in your fee according to the rank secured by you or take admission through management quota. Through kcet its only 1L/year for all the courses which again depends on your rank.
There are MANY clubs. You can pursue other interests of yours in college be it sports, singing, literature, dancing and many more. After joining the college you can also be part of NCC and NSS to serve your country and surroundings. The campus is very green and provides shelter to many animals.
They are helpful and look forward to help us with our queries. be it related to academics or personal issues. They are highly qualified in their streams and posses vast knowledge about their subject. we are also provided with mentors. teachers keep a check on our academics as well.

I would rate the course curriculum 8.5/10. It is well-structured and covers the core concepts required for both higher studies and industry. One of the main reasons I chose this course was its balanced combination of theoretical knowledge and practical learning through laboratory sessions, projects, assignments, seminars, and presentations. The curriculum also provides a strong foundation in the key subjects of the discipline.
The placement are very very good thare are no talking about 5he collage placement that's the good part about our college that they have good placements that's a good decision to join that collage I think you understand
After completing the course at DBIT, employability is promising due to strong industry ties and a dedicated placement cell. Graduates often receive offers from top companies in IT, engineering, and management sectors. Many also pursue higher studies or entrepreneurship, leveraging their skills effectively.
Placements are quite good , but not many opt for placements . As this is mainly a research institute so many go to pursue higher studies abroad and large researchand development centers I have a plan to pursue masters in this fielsd and continue my research work in this field.
From 6th sem students placement will start. Many companies like Amazon, phone pe, rapido, Accenture, Infosys, IBM, Mahindra, L&T, ultratech, Wipro, Toyota, subex, sisco, congnizant, etc Highest package provided is 45lpa, average is 8lpa. Around 85% placed every year. My plan is to do higher studies. Around 900 students placed every year
You should maintain around 8 cogs and above so that you can have a guaranteed placement and students are eligible after 3rd year to get placements and placement rates are pretty good with the avg being 7lpa
I'm greatly interested in civil engineering and that's why I joined the course. The curriculum greatly interested me because it's easy to understand and not too stressing. We have no of situations where they teach you to be ready for the real world. I dont think it neesds any improvement because I feel it's enough. Timing of exams can actually be changed because honestly I want gaps for my exams in just 4 months span i completed 1 sem that's why.
