Starting from 6th semester you will be eligible for campus placements. There are lots of companies starting from service to product and start-up company and the package varies from 5lPA to 24 LPA depending on the skills. The placement percentage will be around 90%. My plan is to get a job as a software developer in a product company with a good package.
I have got the admission via counseling where you will be allocated to the college based on the 12th cut-off, once you opt for the college you will get messages about when you have to come to college once you reach college you have to provide all your mark sheets and the process starts at the admission office, the admission will be smooth.
Read Full ReviewThe college provides good placement facilities but mostly for IT and CSE students. Companies for circuit branches are lower. Students are eligible for campus placements after the 6th semester. Start-up companies visit most often. The highest package is 8LPA and the lowest package is 2LPA. 85% of the students get placed per year. My plan is to be placed as an embedded system engineer in a good company.
I joined my college through Counselling. There is no entrance exam and my cutoff is 187 out of 200 which is sufficient to get into the ECE department at KCT. The application form can be filled out directly at the college or online. Since there was too much rush during the admission process. Any technique can be established to solve the same.
Read Full ReviewFor my course, there are very less placement opportunities. But other departments such as CSE, IT, ECE, and EEE are getting plenty of placement opportunities with high salary packages. While compared to MIT college, the placements are well and good.
I came through Government Quota by applying TNEA. Atleast 160 cutoff is required to get admission in this college particularly this couse. For other couses it differs. For example 195 cutoff is required for CSE department.

Another concern is the Girls’ Hostel, the girls weren’t allowed to move out from the Hostel after a set time, 6:40 pm. This is quite early for girls but this is the rule hence, they follow but aren’t happy about it.
One of my friends was a part of the 2017 MCA batch of Kumaraguru College of Technology. According to her, the atmosphere at the institute is great and it offers decent academics.
You will definitely have a good time at KCT.
It all depends on your interest. Kumaraguru College of Technology is an autonomous, self-financing engineering college located in the outskirts of Coimbatore. Each and every student of Kumaraguru College of Technology gets equal opportunities.
