To get into Assam Engineering College, one must clear CEE ( Common Entrance Examination), Assam. Since ACE is the best college under CEE, one must perform well and a general category student must secure at least 500 ranks to easily get admitted to AEC.

The eligibility for doing Btech in AEC is to clear the CEE entrance exam whose eligibility is to be below 21 years of age during the exam and must also have a permanent residence certificate of Assam. The application form for CEE can be found on the ASTU website itself. The fee for the application is Rs. 1000 and generally, the dates start in March and end around May. The admission is easy and simple, we just need to keep checking the admission portal regularly for updates.

To get admission to ASSAM ENGINEERING COLLEGE, one has to take CEE, Which has a total of 120 questions, the right answer has +4 marks and the wrong answer earns -1. After that within a month, the result is announced and students are called for counseling. SC/ST and OBC and Economically backward students get a lower cut-off than the general rank list, thru CEE one can get admission in AEC, JEC, JIST, BBEC, etc. under ASTU.
