NEET UG 2024 will be held on May 5, 2024, for admission to MBBS at Dr. Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College and Hospital. NEET PG 2024 will be held on March 3, 2024, for admission to MD/ MS at Dr. Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College and Hospital.

Dr. Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College and Hospital offers the MD and MS courses at the postgraduate level. The MD course is offered under 6 specializations and the MS course is offered under 5 specializations.

For PG courses, applicants are required to be holders of an MBBS degree from a recognized institute and are also required to have completed one-year of rotating internship to be considered eligible. Apart from these criteria, candidates are also required to have registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) / State Medical Council (SMC) to be considered as eligible.

Admission to the MD and MS courses is done based on the applicants’ performance in the NEET (PG) entrance examination, which is conducted at the national level. Key Points:

MBBS degree should be recognized as per Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Candidates who passed MBBS from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and J&K are not eligible for admissions in seats reserved under All India quota of 50%.
The completion date of the rotary internship must be on or before March 31.
