It’s difficult to say since you haven’t mentioned which board you belong to and whether you are applying through the merit list or some quota. In general, the cutoff for Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce stays around 85-87%. The cutoff varies each year. So, there’s a chance that you will get in.
However, if you are applying through some quota like the NRI quota or Defence quota, then you can easily get admission.
BA Economics Honours in Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce is not a UGC recognized degree.
In your 1st year if you score a 60% in all the subjects, then only you are offered an Honours degree in the 2nd year.
Economics, unlike other subjects, is very much in demand, so you can expect a lot of competition. The faculty members of this department are also well experienced. You will get to familiarize yourself with the course structure. Overall the college provides a peaceful environment.
Though keep in mind that the Honours degree is provided by the college but the main degree is given by SPPU. Nothe that before registration.

It comes under the top 10 colleges in terms of academic achievement. Yes, it is possible for a CA student to continue their studies in CA with a B.com at Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce. They just have to manage their time wisely and give proper attention as well as determination to both of them. The college has no attendance issues.
However, college can be difficult at times because of comprehension questions, multiple choice questions, written tests, viva, assignments, exams, and activities related to assessments, projects, or lesson plans. The teacher does not care if you're preparing for CA. They would make no negotiations in assignments and any other areas of concern.
No, having Maths as one of the subjects for 12th is not required to get admission at Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, Pune. But if you had Maths in your 12th, it will be considered in your aggregate.
Also, you should know that Maths is one of the choices in the first year course curriculum of B.Com. You will have to choose between Maths and Computer Science.
In my opinion, Symbiosis is better. As a lot of my friends studied at Symbiosis, I might be able to provide you with some information about the college.
As Symbiosis is a private institute, the fees will considerably be higher than Fergusson. But it is good to invest in a college which will give you a proper and industry-oriented education. So Symbiosis won't be a bad choice.
One of my friends studied at Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce. According to him, Symbiosis gives students an opportunity to develop academically and holistically.
The infrastructure is well maintained and has all the necessary facilities required for the students. They focus on extracurricular activities and ensure an overall development. The placements are up to the mark and companies like Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, TCS, etc. recruit most of the students.
