NIZAM with good quality of Education .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I went through a BSc course because I did BIPC in inter. The faculty in nizam college were experienced staff, faculty will explain briefly about the lessons but you have to review the chapters every day to day to score well in semester exams. Everything is according to the dates given by the staff. The faculty was good, the teaching method was also excellent as they are experienced. The internals, practical's, and semesters were easy to pass if you were regular to college otherwise if you read important questions for exams also easy to pass exams.

Nizam College is a very popular and reputed college to pursue B.Sc courses and the admission process of this college starts in around June and July. The applications are available at the campus academic center or at the IOB Basheerbagh branch and you can ask them to provide you a form for B.Sc. After filling in all the details asked in the form, you will have to submit the form at the campus academic center. There is a special quota available for students who are physically handicapped or are children of Ex-army. Students who are involved in sports, NCC, or any kind of co-curricular activities are also eligible to take advantage of the special quota, but you will have to provide all the valid documents required to take advantage of the special quota. Your admission to this college will be based on marks in your 12th standard, the total number of students applying for this course, and if you have applied through any special quota.

But if you have scored 97% then you have a very good chance of getting admission even if you are a non-local candidate. But for the local candidates, there are only 15% of the seats available and even foreign students are applying to this college. The competition from foreign students would be more as they are likely to pay 10-20 times higher fees if they get a seat. Nizam College officially does not provide any accommodation for the students on the OU campus. But from the second year onwards, hostel facilities are available for only boys nearby the campus. For girls, there is no such facility available as of now. Officially Osmania University doesn't allow students of other colleges and universities to stay inside their campus hostels. But you can stay at their hostels if you know a student staying in an OU hostel. This is the only way possible to stay in an OU hostel if you are from a different college. But if you get caught staying in OU hostel illegally, then you will be punished by the OU hostel officials. So it will be better to stay in any department hostels like SC, ST, BC hostel and then after a year, you will be able to stay in a hostel of Nizam College which will be around 500 meters away from the campus.

According to academics, it is one of the best. Also, you should keep in mind that attending regular classes and paying attention to whatever is being taught there is crucial. This is because the more you familiarize yourself with the subject, understanding it becomes easier. The fee structure depends on the combination of subjects you get with psychology, courses with lab practicals cost more than regular ones. Since it is a government institution, fees will be comparatively less. BA in Psychology may cost you INR 13,800 for 3 years.
