If you want to pursue a bachelor’s or master’s from Nizam College, Hyderabad then go for it. The college is one of the oldest and is well-reputed.

Now, talking about the city of Hyderabad, it is safe. You will come across people following different cultures. Many foreign students come to India to study at Nizam College. Additionally, there are many under-graduate groups in the college.

Nizam College is a very popular and reputed college to pursue B.Sc courses and the admission process of this college starts in around June and July. 

The applications are available at the campus academic center or at the IOB Basheerbagh branch and you can ask them to provide you a form for B.Sc. After filling in all the details asked in the form, you will have to submit the form at the campus academic center. 

There is a special quota available for students who are physically handicapped or are children of Ex-army. Students who are involved in sports, NCC, or any kind of co-curricular activities are also eligible to take advantage of the special quota, but you will have to provide all the valid documents required to take advantage of the special quota. 

Your admission to this college will be based on marks in your 12th standard, the total number of students applying for this course, and if you have applied through any special quota.

Nizam College is a very reputed college and the marks required to get a seat in this college is generally very high. But if you have scored 97% then you have a very good chance of getting admission even if you are a non-local candidate. 

But for the local candidates, there are only 15% of the seats available and even foreign students are applying to this college. The competition from foreign students would be more as they are likely to pay 10-20 times higher fees if they get a seat. 

Apart from academics, you will get the chance to grow in extracurricular aspects including sports, NCC, NGO, and many more.

It is suggested to go to Nizam College. Osmania University is a bit stricter, almost like a school. The timings are fixed from 9 to 5. You will have no time for other extra-curricular activities.

In Nizam College, the timing is usually from 9/10 am to 1 pm. This gives you enough time for other activities. It offers a good combination of subjects for the courses, especially for BA. 

The syllabus at Nizam College is upgraded every year. This allows you to go through a wide range of books which enhances your all-around development.

Nizam College is famous for its undergraduate courses. Except for one or two, it has the best lectures for its undergraduate programs.

There are many student organizations in the college. It depends on you whether you want to join any such organization or not. You will have ample time for other activities.

The department libraries are good and the college has satisfactory laboratories and equipment.

Nizam has everything within itself but if you lookout for a movie kind of environment then you will not find it here.

Nizam College is one of the most preferred colleges for higher education in South India. It is a CPE graded constituent autonomous college.

Nizam College officially does not provide any accommodation for the students on the OU campus. But from the second year onwards, hostel facilities are available for only boys nearby the campus. For girls, there is no such facility available as of now. 

Officially Osmania University doesn't allow students of other colleges and universities to stay inside their campus hostels. But you can stay at their hostels if you know a student staying in an OU hostel. This is the only way possible to stay in an OU hostel if you are from a different college. But if you get caught staying in OU hostel illegally, then you will be punished by the OU hostel officials. 

So it will be better to stay in any department hostels like SC, ST, BC hostel and then after a year, you will be able to stay in a hostel of Nizam College which will be around 500 meters away from the campus.
