Ans. No, mobile phones are not allowed on the National Post Graduate College campus. If any student is found carrying a mobile phone anywhere in the campus, he/she will be punished for breaking the college rules and may have to pay a hefty fine. Students are advised not to carry mobile phones to the college, as they may have to face the consequences of their misconduct. 

Ans. Candidates wanting direct admission to National PG College must also appear for the entrance exam conducted by the college. Those who are applying for reserved seats must produce the attested copies of caste certificate/CMO certificate. Original certificates must also be produced at the time of counselling. Admission to UG programmes without appearing for the entrance examination is not possible at National Post Graduate College.

Ans. Several scholarships are offered at National Post Graduate College to its deserving and meritorious students. These include Amit Singh Chauhan Memorial Scholarship for the meritorious students of B.Com. I &II, Ram Dulari G.P. Dixit Memorial Scholarship for the meritorious students of Geography B.A. I & II, College Scholarship to meritorious students, and College Scholarship to poor students.

Ans. National Post Graduate College has a huge library at its campus. The library has conventional section of books, journals, and periodicals, e-research centres, INFLIBNET facility, audio-visual study material, advanced reference books for teachers and PG students, air-conditioned reading room, answer copies of toppers, question papers of previous years, magazines, a photocopy and print out section, and student information section. 

Ans. Yes, National PG College provides online study material to its students. The study material is offered in subjects like foreign language: French, geography of Uttar Pradesh, investment management, social change and social dynamics, and yoga, meditation & health. Ans. Yes, an admit card is mandatory while appearing for the entrance exam at National PG College. Once the students register themselves for the admission test, they will be issued an admit card. No student will be allowed to enter the examination hall without his/her admit card. In case students forget to carry it to the examination hall, they will not be allowed to appear for the admission test.

Ans. Yes, National PG College does provide emergency medical facilities to its students and faculty members. All the departments of the college have been provided with first-aid kits to meet any emergency. Medical centres are situated quite close to the college where patients from the college are attended on priority basis.

Ans. In order to be eligible for any programme at National Post Graduate College, students must have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the relevant discipline from a recognised board/university. However, the pass percentage will vary as per the programme candidates choose. Candidates who don't meet the minimum eligibility criteria will not be considered for admissions. If any one tries to seek admission by means of fraud, their admission will stand cancelled. 

Ans. The admission test conducted at National PG College is based on general subjects and is not specific to the programme chosen. The test consists of 100 multiple choice questions, out of which 50 shall be from +2 subjects, 20 from general studies, 20 from reasoning and aptitude, and 5 questions each from English and Hindi languages. There will be no negative marking in case of any wrong answers. 

Ans. Yes, National PG College offers a separate boys and girls hostel. The hostel buildings have armed guards, CCTV, dish TV, gym, computer lab, electrostat, indoor games, mess, water coolers with purifiers and generators. The rooms are fully furnished and air conditioned rooms are also available. Students who want to be admitted to NPGC hostel must apply soon, as the seats are limited. 

Ans. Around four diploma courses are offered at National PG College. These are advanced diplomas in Analytical Techniques & Instrumental Analysis, Computer Application, Office Automation & E-governance under Community College, and Banking & Finance under Community College. The basic eligibility for these programmes is to pass 10+2 from a recognised board of education. 

Ans. Following is the eligibility for LUACMAT depending on the course you opt for at National Post Graduate College:

• BBA, BBA(BS), BAJMC: 10+2 passed in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate at +2 level. 
• BCA 10+2 Passed in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate at +2 level with mathematics/computer as one of the subjects. 
• B.Com.(Hons.) 10+2 Passed in any discipline with minimum 60% marks in aggregate at +2 level with either Commerce, Economics or Mathematics as one of the subjects. 
• B.Voc. (Software Development 10+2 Passed in any discipline with minimum 50% & E-Governance)

Ans. Yes, National PG College offers a good canteen facility to its students. The college campus has a canteen which provides nutritious and hygienic food to its students and faculty members. The canteen is spacious and well-furnished with an intercom facility and is situated next to the car parking lot. A wide range of vegetarian North Indian, South Indian, and Continental dishes are available here.

Ans. National PG College has its annual college magazine named 'Abhivyakti.' Various students and faculty members of the college contribute to this publication by submitting their original writings like poems, short stories, articles, news items, and other topics of interest. The yearly magazine also showcases sports, co-curricular activities, and other major events held in the college. 

Ans. The EPOCH Making Study centre provides extensive scholarly research and advanced study facilities on Gandhi and Nehru at the National PG College. It regularly publishes monograms, research papers, leaflets and pamphlets. Some of the major publications of Epoch Making Study Center are souvenirs owned on special occasions particularly whenever National and International seminars are organised.

Ans. Yes, National PG College does organise inter-college tournaments for its students. Every year, the college organises district level Chandra Bhanu Gupta Inter-Degree Collegiate Cricket Tournament (Amit Singh Chauhan Memorial Trophy) with open participation of all associated colleges of Lucknow University. Apart from this, training for a number of indoor and outdoor sports such as Chess, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, BadMinton and athletics is also provided.

Ans. A total of 180 seats under the SFS scheme are available for the BBA programme at National Post Graduate College. There are no regular seats available for BBA. Ans. No, candidates cannot carry a smartwatch or any electronic device in the examination hall at National Post Graduate College. Candidates are not allowed to bring papers, objectionable materials of any kind including Mobile Phones, MP3 Players, Walkman, Smart watch, Calculators or any other electronic gadget inside the examination hall. 

Ans. The National PG College authorities reserve the right to disqualify the candidature of any applicant without assigning any reason. Cheating, talking with anyone, trying to create disturbance in the conduction of admission test, misbehaviour with any staff members of the college, written material in any form that could be used for taking advantage in the admission test, shall lead to disqualification of a candidate from his/her candidature.
