Got to visit my colleagues at the end of the 4th semester. All thanks to COVID-19 Pandemic. I am pursuing my BA degree from Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College. On the basis of college societies' activities, I would rank it with grade A. On the basis of punctuality and regular classes C grade. Infrastructure wise B+ grade can be given. Girls' friendly environment is there so A grade can be given.

Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College - [ARSD]: 11 answered questions

Ques
Is Ramjas College better than ARSD College for pursuing a B.Sc in Physics hons general category?

● Top Answer By Arvind Sharma on 21 Jan 22

Ans
Ramjas is one of the best Science colleges in the country. Being a North campus it has its own benefits. A lot of events take place within the north campus which you will be aware of or be a part of if you take admission in any north campus college. Ramjas in terms of reputation, crowd quality, and exposure is much better than ARSD. It has got an incredible faculty and equally great infrastructure. It is one of the oldest colleges under DU hence has a lot of academic experience. If you seek a fulfilling college life, giving attention to both academics and extracurricular activities, Ramjas is the place for you. There are a lot of societies and clubs in Ramjas, students get enough exposure to explore their skills and talents and enhance them. They are lenient with attendance and also lets students submit an ECA for serious reasons. It will give a proper balance between academics and extracurriculars, here you get to focus on both of them equally. For Physics Honours Ramjas will be the perfect choice.

Ques
Which is the better college between Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College and ARSD College for a B.Sc. in Computer Science (Hons), mainly in terms of faculty and course-related infrastructure such as computer

● Top Answer By Praniti Arora on 26 Nov 21

Ans
It may not be right to compare the colleges under DU among each other. As most of them have similar curriculum and teaching techniques. But if infrastructure is considered Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College (DDUC) is far better than other colleges under DU. As it is a newly established institution, the facilities provided are upgraded with the latest technology.  They also are known to have a very highly experienced faculty, some of them even having 20-30 years of teaching experience. DDUC is popular for its Science and Commerce streams. Therefore if you wish to choose among DDUC and ARSD College for an Honours degree in Computer Science, it is suggested that you go for the former rather than the latter.

Which is better among Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, Rajdhani College, Keshav Mahavidyalaya, Deshbandhu College or Shivaji College of Delhi University?

Academically, it depends on what course you are willing to opt for.  Atma Ram is the best among them. It is the best in Arts, Science and Commerce. Categories Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College Course Fee INR 39,000 Placement Percentage 80% Highest CTC 15 LPA Average CTC 5 LPA Recruiting Companies TCS, Amazon, McKinsey, EY, etc. Here is how your preference should be. At first it is Atma Ram, followed by Deshbandhu College. If you are not able to get admission in both of these, then opt for Keshav Mahavidyalaya or Rajdhani College.

Ques
What college is better for a B.Com (Hons) course among Dyal Singh, Sri Guru Gobind, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa, or Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma?

● Top Answer By Priyam Kumar, on 16 Nov 21

Ans
All the mentioned colleges are good in their own way. But it is important to know the college is not important but your approach towards your course. B.Com (Hons.) is a very prestigious course and it demands a great deal of dedication and concentration. Getting admission to any of these colleges means that your interest is genuine. Consider enrolling yourself into any of the professional courses also as the syllabus for professional courses and B.Com (Hons) are quite similar. Go for ICWA due to the fact that it does not have the requirement of articles. These 3 years in college will shape up your career ahead. If you score good marks and understand all the concepts and are truly invested in the subject, then after a while the college name would not matter, as your skills and knowledge will be given more precedence.

Which college is better for economics hons., Maitreyi or Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma?

● Top Answer By Tamanna Sinha on 29 Mar 22

Ans
Maitreyi College offers a better Economics (Hons) program compared to Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma. It offers better student crowd, better placement opportunities, and better student societies. So, your first preference should be Maitreyi. During 2020 placements, Maitreyi DU offered an average CTC of INR 3.5 LPA.  There’s only one drawback, Maitreyi is a girl's college whereas, ARSD is co-ed.
