The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education, Government of India issues the Martin Luther Christian University Central Sector Scholarship for students who are permanent residents of Meghalaya. 

  • The candidate should be an Indian National.
  • The total Annual Income of the family should not exceed more than INR 8,00,000.
  • Candidate must have secured above 80% in the relevant stream conducted by MBOSB.
  • The renewal of the scholarship is dependent on the promotion to the next class with the student securing 50% or more marks or equivalent Glade Point Avemge in aggregate Jor the two preceding semesters or oI the annual examination.
  • Also, renewal is subject to Discipline and Maintenance of 75% attendance.

Martin Luther Christian University Scholarship Scheme for Minority is granted to students who are permanent residents in the state of Meghalaya studying in and outside the State. Martin Luther Christian University Scholarship Scheme for Minority is further divided into three categories as mentioned below:

  • The total Annual Income of the family should not exceed more than INR 2,50,000, INR 2,00,000 and INR 1,00,000 for Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships, Post Matric Scholarships and Pre-Matric Scholarships respectively.

Students who are permanent residents in the state of Meghalaya are eligible for the Martin Luther Christian University AICTE-Pragati & Saksham Scholarship. 

  • The AICTE - Pragati Scholarship is for two Girl Children per family whereas the AICTE Sakshamis for Specially Abled Students having disabilities of not less than 40% are eligible.
  • The total Annual Income of the family should not exceed more than INR 8,00,000.
  • Submission of a valid income certificate by the Competent Authority is mandatory.
  • Candidates can renew the scholarship by seeking a receipt of renewal application through the National Scholarship Portal and by submitting a promotion certificate issued by the Head of the institution thereafter.
