Several scholarship schemes are available at NIT Sikkim for the students pursuing any of the recognized undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees in any field of education except the externally sponsored\/funded students of research-based programs. Each scholarship scheme of NIT Sikkim has its own eligibility and requirements for the students belonging from different categories. Top Class Education for SC-Category Students\r\n\t\t\tFull fee concession + INR 2,220 P.M. for boarding & lodging + INR 3,000 P.A for Books & Stationery + INR 45,000 for Computer with accessories (provided in the Scheme)\r\n\t\t\t12 Nos. meritorious SC category students whose family income from all sources is not exceeding INR 4.5 lakhs.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t
SAIL Scholarship \r\n\t\t\tINR 4,800 P.A. \r\n\t\t\tStudents having an annual family income less than INR 15,000 per annum\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t
Prime Minister’s Merit Scholarship\r\n\t\t\tINR 1,250 for boys per month and INR 1,500 for girls per month \r\n\t\t\tWards & widows of Ex-CPFs personnel died in harness\/disabled while on duty with 60% marks in 10+2 Exam. Also, for the renewal of Scholarship in subsequent years, a candidate should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in each year. \r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t

Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme for J&K students\r\n\t\t\tTuition fee upto INR 1.25 lakhs is paid by the institute along with INR 1 lakh for hostel fee and incidentals. \r\n\t\t\tStudents belonging to the J&K and appearing in the 10+2 state board examination of J&K are eligible to apply for this scholarship. \r\n\t\t\r\n\t\r\n\r\n\r\n
