The superannuating professor should be an acknowledged leader (expert) in the field of his/her specialization.
The superannuating professor actively engaged in teaching and research in the preceding five years.

Course Details

IIM Ranchi offers Emeritus Fellowship in Management for Recently Superannuated Professors. Recently Superannuated Research active Faculty Members from Universities and Institutes interested in Research will be Invited to join as Emeritus fellows at the Institute.

EFM Fellows will be undertaking the Independent Research and Guide Fellow programme Research Scholars in collaboration with the Regular faculty of IIM Ranchi. They will also be doing their Independent Research and Publication. They will be granted a Monthly Fellowship of INR 50,000 and a Contingency Grant of INR 50,000 per annum.

Ques. Can EFM Fellowship be extended at IIM Ranchi?

Ans. EFM Fellowship is for 2 Years. It can be extended for a period of 1 Year depending on the Performance Evaluation.

Ques. Do EFM Fellows are required to conduct Research?

Ans. EFM Fellows will conduct Academic Research Independently or Jointly with a Resident Faculty Member in their area of Interest.

Ques. Do EFM Fellows have to provide Research Mentorship?

Ans. EFM Fellows are Expected to provide Research Mentorship for Internal Residential Faculty and Research Scholars.
