Graphic Era University, formerly Graphic Era Institute of Technology, is a deemed university located in Clement Town, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. Graphic Era University B.Tech Admission 2023

At the undergraduate level, Era University provides Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programme to the aspiring candidates who want to pursue their career in the field of Engineering. The course is offered for four years.  Apart from B.Tech (Biotechnology), to get admission in rest of the courses candidates need to have a 10+2 level or equivalent degree with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate, to be considered eligible for the concerned course.

The admission in all of the specializations in B.Tech programme except the Biotechnology is done on the basis of rank secured in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main).  

Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech (Biotechnology) will be selected based on the marks scored in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in 10 + 2 level exam.

Graphic Era University UG Admission 2023: BA, B.Com, BBA, BCA, BHM & B.Sc

At the UG level, the university offers a cluster of UG courses in the fields of Arts, Science, Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Application and Hotel Management under multiple specializations. Duration of all the Undergraduate programmes is three years.

Candidates must need to hold a 10+2 level degree to get admission in the concerned courses offered by the institute to accomplish the eligibility criteria for UG programmes. Few of the courses demand PCB/PCM in 10+2 level examination. Graphic Era University offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree at postgraduate level with the duration period of two years.

Graphic Era University M.Sc & MCA Admission 2023

Graphic Era University provides two more programmes at the postgraduate level; those are Master of Science (M.Sc) focusing on the area of Science with multiple specializations and Master of Computer Application (MCA), designed to meet the growing demand for qualified professionals in the field of Information Technology (computer software). The M.Sc programme is of two years while the duration of MCA is three years.

Candidates must need to hold a B.Sc degree from a recognized university to fulfill the eligibility criteria of Biotechnology and Microbiology. Applicants interested in Information Technology need to hold a graduation degree in relevant discipline for appealing in the concerned course. Graphic Era University alos offers Master of Hotel Management (MHM) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a duration of two years in each.

Graphic Era University Ph.D Admission 2023

At the doctoral level, the university offers Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme under multiple specializations.

Remarks:

Once you get 75% In your senior secondary examination you are eligible for a BTech course with any branch you want. There are various reservations for different casts and females. Improvement of the Ac facility is a must-case scenario.

Remarks:

The application process was simple. For admission in btech there were 2 ways - first through jee result and 2nd through board percentage. If you have scored more than 90% on board or more than 85 percentile in jee there is a good chance you can get admission to the college. All the application details can be found at the official site of the university. A pdf is available with all the details about fees and other things

Remarks:

For eligibility for the course, in 12th you must have 50% marks. To find the application form, application fees, and application dates all things are done in the admission cell office. Not much need for improvement in the admission process, because admission is simple in private colleges.

Remarks:

there are basically two processes through which students can take admission. the first method is through 12 percent and the second method is through jee mains percentile. I took admission through 12 percent.

Remarks:

Students must have a minimum percentage in 12th and according to that scholarships are provided. The process was very smooth and the admission cell was very helpful throughout the whole process. The application form can be found online as well as directly in the administration cell.

Remarks:

I filled out a form that was provided by the university. Students who have passed class 12 with more than 60% were eligible to opt for Btech Computer Science. I was also provided with a scholarship based on my percentage and jee main score.

Admission was on the basis of 12th class score the application form is provided on the college website and the whole admission process is very smooth. Girl students get extra 10% discount on tuition fees and there is no such reservation

Here is a brief review of Graphic Era University.  The college infrastructure is average. The sports facilities are not good. The faculties have good educational backgrounds. But most of the faculty members don’t put in the required effort. The hostel accommodation is decent. The food offered at the mess is decent. The CS department has good placement records. Around 80% of students get placed from this branch. The average CTC offered at the institute is INR 5 LPA. But for other branches, placement chances are less than 20%. Graphic Era charges huge fees. A BTech degree costs around INR INR 13.32 Lakhs. Overall, Graphic Era University is average at best.

Among the given choices, Graphic Era will be a better option, for a BSc course. The Graphic Era University has been around for more than 25 years. I have a few friends from the University and according to them, the faculties are well qualified and quite cooperative. You will also get good international exposure there. You can think about pursuing the following courses at this college. BSc (H) Food technology BSc (H) Microbiology BSc (H) Biotechnology BSc (H) Maths, Physics Let me assure you that this college has some of the best labs and overall, the teachers are also really good. This really makes a difference when it comes to higher education.

Graphic Era University is better for a B.Com. It offers better career outcomes. Companies such as SAGE Publications, Cognizant, IndiaMart, etc. visit the campus drive to recruit students. According to the recent highlights of Graphic Era placements, the average CTC for B.Com students is around INR 3.5-4 LPA.  GEU also gives students the opportunity to explore and learn new things outside of traditional academics.

The faculties, lab facilities, and placement opportunities offered for CSE, at the university are better than any other college in Dehradun. The average CTC offered for CSE students during placements is around 5 LPA. More than 200 companies visit the campus placement. Graphic Era fee structure for B.Tech CSE is approximately around 13.32 lakhs.

Placements: Graphic Era University GEU is famous for its placement records with regular recruiters including Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Samsung, Ashok Leyland, Satguru International, TCS, IBM, ICICI, HDFC, Investor’s Clinic, Britannia, Axis Bank, HSBC, ITC, PepsiCo, and many more.  Over 2,400 students were placed last year with the average salary package being 5.08LPA. IMS Unison It is famous for its placement records as well with over 80% of its final year graduates and postgraduates getting placed in top companies.  The average salary package was 8LPA.  UIT Uttaranchal University UIT is a relatively new university and hasn’t proclaimed its name in the career field yet.  However, they do record 40-50% placements every year with the average salary packages being 4-5 LPA. Thus it completely depends on the students which college they want to pursue their BBA education. While all three colleges are promising, students are required to look at other aspects as well before deciding a university.

At GEU, about more than 80% of students get placed during the placement rounds with the engineering and marketing domain to receive the highest recruiters. Graphic Era University (GEU) is better than Graphic Era Hill University. It has better infrastructure and facilities. The laboratories and workshops are far better at GEU. The university boasts of an excellent faculty base. The student crowd is diverse, you will meet people from all over the country.  Graphic Era placements are good. According to the recent placement drive, The average CTC offered to the students is INR 5.38 LPA. Adobe, Zscaler, Teradata, etc. are some of the significant recruiters in the placement drive.

NIET and GEU are one of the top universities in India to pursue Engineering and other fields like management and law. NIET is located in Noida whereas GEU is located in Dehradun. Apart from the fundamental differences in ranking and placements, students should also go for a more detailed search before choosing their institute. Ranking: NIET has been ranked at the first position in Greater Noida and 6th best in North India for its engineering faculty by the Times of India. GEU has been ranked as the top private university in Uttrakhand and 8th of the best private institutes in India by Dainik Bhaskar. Campus: NIET has a 14-acre campus with a hostel building including a central library and gymnasium. It also provides on-campus bus services for students to travel back and forth. GEU, on the other hand, has a hostel building and a magnificent library. It also provides conference halls with audio-visual facilities as well as guest houses on the campus. Placements: NIET Noida had the record of providing on-campus placements to 50% of graduating students mostly around Delhi, NCR. The highest salary package was for 8 LPA and the average was for 3 LPA. GEU also provides numerous placements opportunities with high packages for both engineering and management students. Over 2400 students were offered placements from more than 200 campus recruiters.
