Shiv Nadar University offers B.Tech, B.Sc, BA and BMS courses in various specializations at UG level. The minimum eligibility criteria is 10+2 from a recognized board along with English as a mandatory subject.

Shiv Nadar University follows a three-step selection process to offer admission in all the UG courses. Final admission is based on the composite scores of these components:

1. Marks obtained in 10+2 (aggregate percentage is different for different boards)
2. Performance of candidates in SNUSAT and APT. SNUSAT & APT is a three-hour test to be conducted at 100 Pearson VUE test centers located all over India.

For B.Tech, candidates with the desired JEE Main score are also eligible to apply. 50% weightage will be given to the marks in 10+2 or JEE Main and 50% to SNUSAT and APT at the time of final admission.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements: A pass in 10+2 is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to all the UG programs. Aspirants must ensure the minimum percentage of marks required with respect to the board from which they have passed class XII examination:

Key Point: In case, the board scores are less than the required percentage set by the university, then JEE Score (120) will be considered for admission.

SNUSAT and APT Pattern: SNU will conduct a three-hour test to offer admission in B.Tech, BA, B.Sc and BMS courses. Check the section-wise details as given below:

 At the postgraduate level, the university offers M.Tech in various streams. BE/ B.Tech in the relevant field with at least 60% marks is the minimum eligibility criteria for application. SNU conducts a written test followed by an interview to offer admission. GATE passed candidates are also eligible to apply.

Key Points:

• Those candidates who have passed BE/ B.Tech from IITs or NITs with minimum CGPA of 8.0 or above are exempted from the SNU based written Test. Such candidates have to appear in the interview round only.

• Candidates with GATE score ≥ 75 are also exempted from the written Test.
• Sponsored candidates with at least two years of relevant experience are also encouraged to apply. Such candidates are also eligible for relaxation from the written Test.

Shiv Nadar University offers MBA, M.Sc, MFA, M.Des & MA courses in various specializations at postgraduate level. Bachelor’s degree in the related discipline from a recognized university. M.Sc and MA admission is subject to candidates’ performance in Written Test conducted by the university and performance in last qualifying examination.

For MBA Program, the university conducts SMAT followed by an interview. CAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ NMAT or CMAT qualified candidates are also eligible to apply. DAT conducted by the university or CEED passed candidates can apply for M.Des course. For MFA and PG diploma programs, SNU conducts separate interview rounds followed by portfolio presentation.

Ph.D. program is offered in various university departments at doctorate level. Master’s degree in the relevant field is the required eligibility criteria. Admission is based on written Test and department-based interview. CSIR-UGC/ NET-JRF or GATE qualified candidates are also eligible. Such candidates do not need to appear in the Written Test conducted by the university.
