IT from MSIT (Maharaja Surajmal) is better. It has a better industry presence, especially in NCR. Many reputed companies take part in MSIT placements. Google, MU Sigma, ZS Associates, Jaro Education, Wingify, Infosys, etc. are among the major recruiters. Students receive an average package of around INR 4-5 LPA. The highest CTC goes up to INR 55 LPA.
There is hardly any difference between the IT and the CSE course you opt for. Many of my seniors have been to both institutes and they are excelling equally well. Academics at MSIT is much better than GTBIT. With that being said, the college holds its own drawbacks too that include you will find a few strict teachers at MSIT and may sometimes face attendance issues.
