Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University was established in 2008 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. This university encourages inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary development of students. It is to be noted that over 50% of their seats are reserved for students with disabilities.

DSMNRU offers UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses across the streams of Special Education, Arts, Commerce, Social Work, Management, Law. DSMNRU B.Tech Admission 2023

Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University offers a B.Tech course for students after their 10+2 exams. The seats will be granted based on the performance in UPSEE exams only.

Application Process

Visit the official website of UPSEE Counseling. Fill all details accurately.
Upload Photograph, Signature soft copy, and thumb impression of the left hand.
An application fee of INR 1300 for male and transgender students belonging to OBC or general merit; and INR 650 for females and students belonging to SC/ST.
After fee payment, the student must take a print out of the Confirmation Page for future reference.
The application number of the student must be noted.

Eligibility

The basic criteria for all the above-mentioned courses are clearance of 10+2 exams.
However, for the B.Ed course, the student must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree with Science or Social or Humanities as the specializations with a 50% aggregate score. Or a B.Tech degree with Maths and Science subjects and 55% aggregate score.
Students willing to join B.Com + LLB courses must have scored at least 45% aggregate in 10+2 exams. 5% relaxation is granted for students from SC/ST categories.
To apply for a BPO course, the student must have taken up PCBE/PCME in 10+2 and cleared it with a 45% aggregate score.
For the BASLP course, the student must have cleared 10+2 exams with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one optional subject with at least 50% aggregate score. The student must not be older than 25 years as on 1st July.

Selection Criteria

The students will be allotted seats strictly based on merit score only i.e. marks scored in 10+2 exams.
However, for BA, BBA, B.Com, and B.Com + LLB courses, even High School score will be taken into consideration with the following weightage:
- High School or equivalent exam: 20% weightage
- 10+2 or equivalent exam: 80% weightage

Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University offers full-time PG courses across the fields of Arts, Science, Commerce, Management. The students must have compulsorily cleared their UG courses in the respective subject to be able to apply. The selection will be based on merit score.

Hold a valid UG degree from a recognized university in a relevant subject
However, for an MBA course, the student must have appeared for any relevant State or Central entrance exam and must have secured at least a 40% score to be able to appear for the interview round

Selection Criteria

The seats will be allotted to the students based on the merit score, i.e. marks secured in the Graduation course.
However, for MA, MSW, M.Com, M.Sc, MCA and M.Ed courses, even High school, and 10+2 exam scores will be taken into consideration with the following weightage:

- Intermediate or equivalent exam: 25% weightage
- Graduation or equivalent exam: 60% weightage

Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University offers a full-time Diploma course in Special Education, D.Ed. The students must have cleared 10+2 exams in order to apply. The selection will completely be based on merit score.

Register using an accurate Email ID and phone number to receive a Unique Registration ID.

Submit the application form.
Merit list will be put up on the college website from time to time. It is the student's responsibility to stay updated.
The student will also receive a counseling card, which must be produced during the counseling process.
The student will have to submit an Undertaking Letter, specifying all the college norms.
