Bharathiar University Admission
The applications are accepted either online or offline for admission to Bharathiar University.
Offline Registration:
- Students can procure an application form in person from the university office by his/her community certificate along with the request for application.
- Candidate shall also send a self addressed envelope (28 x 13 cms) affixing Rs. 60/- stamp along with the application form
- Candidates can also download the application form available at the university website and submit it upon completion along with a DD for INR 400.
- Application forms along with the DD, completed in all respects, must reach the Professor and Head of Department.
Online Application:
Candidates can also register online for admission to the university courses through the official website. Candidates should possess the following pre-requisites while registering online:
- Valid Email ID.
- Soft Copy Passport size Photograph
- Demand Draft of INR 400 as application fee for OC / BC / MBC / DNC candidates.
- Demand Draft of INR 200 as application fee in case SC / ST candidates, on production of attested photocopy of community certificate.

No entrance exam was conducted for my course. The eligibility is anyone who took physics and electronics as a bachelor can apply for the master in electronics. It's easy to apply on the website. I do not discuss the improvement in the admission process. The application will mostly be available from mid-June to mid-July.

One of my friends studied at Bharathiar University (BU). According to him, if you can study on your own without the regular guidance of teachers, you can opt for BU.
Here if you want to learn something, you have to do it for yourself, as the faculty members wont guide you step by step. BU has a huge library from which you can get the required study materials. So if you are someone who does not require a methodical guidance and can learn on your own, BU will be fine for you.

If you are planning to pursue a B.Com degree after completing IPCC, it is suggested you do it through IGNOU.
It provides exemptions in certain subjects for those who have completed CA-IPCC through a special agreement with ICAI. Madras University also offers the same.
Though you also have to submit assignments when you do it from IGNOU and you can get B.Com there in the first year.
