From 6th semester students are allowed to sit in campus placements. Many prestigious companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Accenture, TCS, etc. This year's highest placement went to 62lakhs annually and the average salary is 8.5 lakhs annually which is a decent package according to a private college. We have to score around 7.5 cgpa or more throughout the college to sit in campus placements. My plans are to get an MTech degree after my BTech or pursue an MBA afterward.
Very simple process, to get the application form it's totally free and is available between Mid December upto January, the exam will be taken in the exam centre which will be assigned by the college itself. Eligibility is to get PCM 60% in boards and score your rank card according to the entrance. Everything is okay and don't think that any improvement is needed.

Yes, I took an entrance exam, I applied through the kiit official website, and after scoring good marks on kiit exam, I got a rank of 1559 and got Btech cse, there is no application fee and a candidate can apply for different phases.

First, you have to score above 85percent in maths physics and chemistry then you will fill application form for kiitee exam, that application form will be available on the internet on their website they charge a fee minimal fee and it's an offline computer-based exam you go give the exam if you qualified then there will be a counselling and you are good to go

The course is of 4 years. BTech course. The application form can be found easily on the website of the college. Since it's a private college there are no reservations. The admission process is done through kiitee exam so only deserving students get admission.
Read Full ReviewThere is a good placement in kiit University as the highest package is 62 lakhs till now. I am thinking of getting placed as I would not suggest doing a master's degree from this college you can go to other foreign universities.
The application form can be found on the website of kiit University you can apply for free as there are no charges there are 5 rounds I guess to get a good percentile of 98 or 99 to avail of a scholarship that would reduce I guess 5 lakhs in 1 year.
Read Full ReviewStudents get placements from the 6th-7th semester. There are a lot of private companies that do bulk recruiting. Minimum job offers are 600000. Around 80% of students get placed. The placement in kiit is very good as compared to its competitors.
Admission is the University is simple, take the kitee exam by applying online and a minimum of 75% is required for cse department and rest of the departments also have a criteria of 50% or above. The admission process is very simple and doesn't need any improvement.
Read Full ReviewThe student becomes eligible from semester 6 for placement. More than 50 companies visit here with a 97% place rate. The highest package is 62LPA and the average is 9LPA. I will start my startup which I've already started working on after my studies.
I took addmission through KIITEE which is kiit's entrance exam. I scored 87 percentile in the first phase of the exam, though there were 3 phases I only gave the first one as I got computer science in the first phase. There were reservations for the sc and St categories but I didn't get one as I am from general. The admission form was free and the exam was free. It was a moderate-level exam. The only thing which can be improved is the choice of exam centres and more centres in remote areas.
Read Full ReviewStudents are eligible for PPOs from the 6th semester. Multiple companies visit and make offers to worthy students. The highest package so far was 62 lacs and the lowest was around 3 lacs (per annum). Here at KIIT around 95% of students get placed. I plan on working for a couple of years before going for a master's.
The admission process was very easy and to the point. We just had to apply online for the entrance exam (KIITEE) which was free of cost and appear for the exam on our respective dates. The college site provides a very easy user interface and easy navigation.
Read Full ReviewStudents start getting internships in the third year only. There are internship programs for students from the first sem only which give them hands-on experience for the internships. The college has exponentially increased in popularity. Mostly all the students get placed in some company or the other, though some are placed in mass recruiters. The students get placed in the fourth year. The highest placement has gone 62 lpa in this year the average placement is around 9 lakhs. Around 300 companies sites including Amazon, Google, Flipkart, etc made 3800 offers. I plan to get placed in famous companies like Google and have the highest package from my college.
KIIT takes admission by two ways: 1. Through KIITEE Exam 2. Through JEE mains score. The application form is free of cost and anyone who has scored an aggregate of more than 60 percent can apply. The form is released on site kiit.ac.in I got admission in CSE through both. But I paid the fee in jee mains. Anyone above 90 percentile will have high chances of getting a CSE seat and the people above 78 or 80 can get admission into CSE specialisation. Everything is fine once you enter the college.
Read Full ReviewCampus placements are good here. Companies come here and mostly 100% of students get placed, but the competition is huge because here the strength is a lot so you have to do well if you want your future secured.
You have to apply through JEE or you can take the KIITEE exam conducted by the college. I found out about it on YouTube. And for details you can go on kiit.ac.in, talking about reservation it is available only for SC and st and female candidates.
Read Full ReviewI have a friend who is an alumnus of KIIT. He was able to provide the specification of the laptop offered to students in the 2016 batch.
However, there is no ethernet port. In contrast, the university does not also provide any LAN connection, so you eventually do not need the ethernet port anyway.
The laptops provided to the students do not usually come with a ThinkPad pro stylus when they generally should. In the case of gaming, they work seamlessly. Thus, it should not be an issue to be concerned about.
Yes, companies such as Google, Apple, Microsoft, and Facebook hire students from BITS, VIT, or KIIT. In fact, they hire from colleges all across the country. These companies are all for skills. If you have the required skill set, you can get interview calls from these companies. If you belong to some IIT, you will certainly have some advantage over the others.
KIIT SOM has a strong alumni network of 5000+ with many on the CxO level in big corporations. A few of my friends studied there and here’s what I got to know from them:
Overall, KIIT SOM students can climb to great heights if they are hardworking and persistent, as the institute provides many opportunities to grow and get placed.
KIIT Bhubaneswar selection procedure is through. Admissions are either based on entrance examination performance or merit. For B.Tech KIIT selects students based on their KIITEE scores.

If you are considering Amity University, Noida for Engineering, it is recommended that you do not enroll there. According to students who completed their bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from there, it's a pathetic place to study. They claim that the quality of teaching is very poor, research is nil, and fees are too high. They highly recommend that you join KIIT, Bhubaneswar for a B.Tech, rather than Amity University, Noida.
Based on their experience, they believe that anyone who recommends Amity is either lying or trying to get a commission from you. Therefore, it's advised that you look into other options and do your research before making a decision on where to pursue your engineering degree.
Here is a video comparing these top engineering colleges

One of my immediate relatives was a part of KIIT Bhubaneswar, and here is his insight regarding the campus placement of 2020.
He mentioned that the campus placement of KIIT BHubaneswar is reasonably good. Several of his batchmates, alongside him, are currently placed at multiple top firms over and around the country.
The recruiting companies were ZS, IBM, MU Sigma, etc. The average and highest CTC offered were 6 LPA and 30 LPA respectively. More than 195 recruiters visited the campus and a total of 3156 students got placed. 1200 students received multiple job offers.
KIIT has more dominance in the educational sector than that of Heritage Institute of Technology due to several reasons. Both of them are private institutions, but KIIT has more tie-ups with universities abroad for special programs than Heritage.
When speaking about education we have to keep the factors of Fees, Alumni, and Placements, etc. KIIT has emerged with great colors when compared to Heritage in almost all the stats.
KIIT has a better infrastructure and campus overall. My labs are exquisitely made and well designed.

Heritage, when compared to KIIT, has less number of companies visiting the campus and the placement packages don’t go so high. At KIIT placements of all kinds are made and dream companies visit the university and recruit some capable students. KIIT is also better connected to the industry due to its internships and brand name. KIIT has higher exposure for the students in the market because of its wide alumni network and the recognition it has gained over the years.
