I know a few people from Jiwaji University, Gwalior. Based on the reviews I got from them, I will advise against choosing this institute.
Considering all these factors, it will be best if you choose other universities for your degree.
A few of my friends graduated from Jiwaji University and here is their advice.
According to my friends, it is an average college. So, you will need to put in extra effort to do it. If you are opting for the institute, try to make the most out of it.
One of my friends studied at Jiwaji University. According to him, the classes that are conducted are often irregular. Everything depends on the faculty members.
There is an irregular pattern of the exams and results too. The more the number of pages, the better your score will be. Quantity is given preference more than quality. You have to write extra information to fill the papers.
The professors prefer the students choose Hindi as their default language of education. But they are given options to choose either Hindi or English. Some of the topics will not be present in the English textbooks but hopefully, you will not face any problem because Hindi is your second language.
There are a lot of things to do in Gwalior on a weekend. Gwalior is a really lovely town. You can go sightseeing in the city. You can visit Gwalior fort, Sasbahu Temple. You can spend some time at the Gujari Mahal Archaeological museum. There is an option to enjoy boat rides in the Tighara dam.
In Jiwaji, there aren't many options for activities other than sports and NGOs. But, Jiwaji University has a pretty large sports stadium. You may make use of it. If you are a sports enthusiast, try playing basketball at the sports center or go jogging along the Oxygen path.
Honestly speaking, pursuing M.Sc in physics at Jiwaji University is a very good idea. Some of my friends graduated from here and are doing quite well.
For pursuing M.Sc in physics, candidates have to appear in an entrance exam. They will be selected on the basis of their score in the same. The combined fee for all semesters for M.Sc in physics is INR 27,580.
According to the information I got after researching online regarding your question, I got to know that you can either get the transcripts in person, or you can send someone you know to get them for you.
The documents required for getting the transcripts are:
The university usually takes about 20-25 working days for issuing the transcripts.
You can also get the transcripts through the mail if you are unable to make it to the university in person. You will also be provided a tracking ID. Just mail them the documents and you are good to go. You will keep on getting updates. You can contact the support team in case you have doubts. They themselves contact you if they need something.
After you have registered with WES, the university will send the sealed transcript to WES
The Department of Chemistry of Jiwaji University Gwalior has some of the best labs in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The alumni network does not let any of the graduate students sit idle and waste their time.
A lot of the students, however, do not have respect for the university as the pattern of the exams is not regular and the classes are just as irregular.
There are usually 10 available seats and selection in this college is carried out on the basis of an entrance exam. Here the fees are much more reasonable than other colleges. If you study here, you may not get the best exposure but if you work hard, you could have the chance of succeeding also.
Jiwaji University is a good university but there are other universities with better prospects including Manipal University, Sharda University, LPU, RTU, SKIT, ANAND-ICE, JEC, and more.
The placement opportunities mostly depend on your abilities and the performance you offer throughout your academic life. Other than the placement opportunities, you can find every other necessary amenity in the institutes mentioned above.
I have a few friends from Jiwaji University Gwalior and they didn’t have a good experience at the institute. Here are their insights.
Based on the reviews I will say, if you have other options, go for it.
MBA offered in Jiwaji University is worth the money and the faculty has a lot of experience and capability.
Through the application tests, the students are sized upon a number of parameters. Followed by the application tests, you have to appear in group discussions then you will be shortlisted for the personal interview round. On successful completion of this round, you are given the offer letter.
