Course Description

Christ University offers nationally and internationally recognized undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs. These programs are offered in the academic disciplines of Law, Business Administration, Commerce, Management, Humanities, Sciences, and Social Science.

Christ University invites applications for admission to the M.Phil. (Master of Philosophy) program in various disciplines for the academic year 2023-24. The admission will be based on a Written Test followed by an Interview. The applications can be filled in online mode after the payment of INR. 1000 from any Core Banking Branch of State Bank of India/ a valid Credit Card/ Debit Card or Net Banking facility.

Christ University M.Phil Selection Procedure

Applicants will be selected on the basis of merit of entrance examination and subsequent interview. The Written Test would be of two parts – General Aptitude and Technical Aptitude/Subject Knowledge of the respective subject.

Applicants Academic Performance will also be taken into account, which would include an assessment of past performances and the research proposal during the Interview.

Christ University M.Phil Application Process

Interested candidates can apply in both online and offline formats. They can obtain the Application Form after remitting at Counter No. 7, Office of Admissions, Ground Floor, Central Block, Christ University Main Campus, Bengaluru. Application Form can also be downloaded from the University website.

Candidates filling the offline/online application forms must fill-in the form correctly and attach all the required documents. Submit it online and in case of offline form, send the application form along with necessary enclosures to the office of the Christ University. The online Application can be processed after remitting the Application fee in the following way:

For NRI/International Student Category: A DD for Rs. 100 USD or equivalent to it in INR in favour of “Christ University, Bengaluru” payable at Bengaluru.
For Indian Nationals: Through an SBI Application Processing Fee Challan for Rs. 1000 from any Core Banking Branch of State Bank of India/ a valid Credit Card/ Debit Card or Net Banking facility.

Documents Required

Send the Application with the following enclosures in an A4 size envelope only:

Recent passport size Photograph
A copy of the DD or the Challan
The filled-in printed Application form duly signed by you and your parent/guardian/spouse
Copy of Certificate of Mark sheet and certificates of class 10^th, 12^th, undergraduate degree, and postgraduate degree
Copy of Transfer Certificate from last qualified institution (if applicable)
Copy of Migration certificates from candidates outside Karnataka (if applicable)
Copy of passport and visa page (if applicable)
A research proposal of a maximum of 1500 words and a minimum of 5 pages in A4 size sheet with Times New Roman 12 size font and 1.5 line spacing format.

Having done some research on both the colleges, I have gathered some information which I am going to share with you. Hope this answers your question. Christ University Bangalore is a more experienced institute. It has the locational advantage being in Bangalore, which is the IT hub of India. A student of Christ University enjoys higher chances of being hired by IT MNC firms, after completing BBA. There is no exit option for the IPM course in IIM Indore once enrolled. In the current scenario, companies are showing preference to students who have a multi-disciplinary background. Pursuing a BBA and MBA with specializations will be a better option than pursuing a program for five years. Moreover, the average packages offered to the students who are pursuing IPM is less than that offered to the students who are pursuing PGDM. Categories Christ University Bangalore Course Fee 5 lakhs Highest CTC 8 LPA Average CTC 3.56 LPA Recruiting Companies Tech Mahindra, Accenture, IBM, Dell, etc. The final two years of IPM are PGDM. The reason for this is that IPM students have to take IPMAT and for PGDM, they will have to take CAT. CAT is much more difficult than the former. In addition to that, IPM is a new course. So it is really not worth the enormous amount of money. In Christ University, you will know the extent of its brand value.
