Life on the campus of SKUAST Kashmir is vibrant, engaging, and diverse. The university campus is located in a picturesque setting with the beautiful Himalayan mountains in the background, providing a serene and conducive environment for learning.

There is annual kissan mela in the university. That's is mostly celebrated in end of February or Early March.There is mostly sale of plants and seeds in the mela. There is also a central library in the middle of the campus. There are lot of books related to all the course which are taught in the entire course. Daily newspapers and journals are also available in the library. Classrooms are well curtained as well as consists of smart classes. Heating system and fan system is also available in classrooms. Sports week is also organised in our faculty where many outdoor as well as indoor games are played. There is no social group run by students. But there are many pages on Instagram and FB run by students.
