Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agriculture Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) is an agricultural-engineering-based University in the state. The institute provides a great number of courses in the Agriculture department.

The courses offered by SKUAST are UG, PG, and Ph.D. The institute has 7 UG courses, 19 PG courses, and 7 Ph.D. areas.
The candidates who have cleared their higher secondary level education are eligible to apply for UG programs. The candidates who have cleared their undergraduate courses in relevant subjects are eligible to apply for PG courses.
The selection of all the courses at SKUAST Srinagar will be based on the merit list of the University Entrance Test.

Established in 2008, SKUAST was ranked 13th among State Agricultural Universities in 2018 by the National Accreditation Board of ICAR. It manages its academic operation through 13 research Centers/ Stations/ Institutes, 13 Krishi Vigyan Kendras and 01 Extension Training Centre placed in different districts of Kashmir and Ladakh Divisions of the State. The University has been approved by UGC and is accredited by AICTE.

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agriculture Sciences and Technology of Kashmir offers full time UG courses with various specializations:

SKUAST UG Selection Criteria

To get admission to SKUAST Srinagar candidates are required to appear in the University Entrance Test conducted by the University.
The merit list based on the University Entrance Test along with the counseling sessions will be declared and published at the university website. The list will also be published at the leading local English and Urdu newspaper.
The seats will be allotted based on available seats in order to merit drawn category wise.

SKUAST Jammu B.Tech Admission 2023

How to Apply for SKUAST 2023

SKUAST Srinagar releases the application form on the University website for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria can apply for the admission.
They have to make a payment of INR 1,500 for UG courses and INR 3000 for PG and PhD courses through credit/debit card/net banking/e-challan generated while filling up the online application form
To get admission to courses at SKUAST Srinagar, candidates are required to apply for University Entrance Test.

Remarks:

The Entrance test is held every year and Admissions are done on the basis of that entrance test. The cutoff of the Various courses varies Veterinary science which is above 85 and for other courses above 65. This is out of 120 for the general category

Memories of SKUAST-K

Remarks:

The eligibility for the course is 10+2 with science biology as the main subject. The student should have 60% marks in the 10+2 examination. The application form, application fees and application dates are found at the official website of the skuast kashmir that is @skuastkashmir.nic.in The reservation benefits of OBC category is 20 percent. Mainly the admission process is offline. It goes very hectic for the students to go for offline mode. Fully online mode for admission process will be beneficial for all students.
