SKUAST Admissions
Candidates applying to the academic programs must satisfy the eligibility criteria for the course they wish to apply for. The eligibility criteria as per the university are given below:

Ques. What facilities are provided to the students?
Ans. Sher-e-Kashmir University aims to achieve excellence by providing world-class facilities with the best available infrastructure and other basic amenities. Given below are the facilities provided by the college.
- Library: The central library has 14000 books, 2750 reference books, 89 periodicals, 640 theses, and 2364 reports.

Ques. How can I get admitted to the college? What is the admission procedure?
Ans. The admission into Under Graduate and Post Graduate is done through the SKUAST-Jammu entrance test, ICAR entrance test and on the basis of the nomination of in-service candidates through state government. Admission into the B.Sc. course is done on the basis of 10+2 grade marks. For admission into the Ph.D. program, students should possess a Bachelor’s degree in the respective subject. The respective GPA (grade point average) is also taken into consideration while granting admission. For basic agricultural training courses, the only academic requirement is 10+2 with science while for certificate courses the student should have passed matric grade.
