Infrastructure: MAIT: At MAIT, the student to faculty ratio is around 70:1. The library is massive, having access to hundreds of volumes and papers. There are five canteens on campus, and the college has several sports facilities, including an indoor badminton court. JMI: The mechanical department at Jamia has its library and well-equipped labs. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Medical facilities are available 24*7. Each department organizes sports week, and the mechanical department also has separate canteens. Although in terms of placements and infrastructure both the colleges are on par, there is a factor of affordability. Jamia has one of the lowest tuition fees in Delhi. However, the decision depends on the students who need to take everything from academics to cultural aspects of the colleges into consideration.

Jamia Hamdard's selection procedure for admission depends on the course and department. For courses like BA, BCA, BBA, and B.Com, admission is merit-based.  While admission to undergraduate engineering courses is through JEE Main. For medical courses like MBBS, B.Sc Nursing, BOT, BPT, and B.Pharm, admission is based on NEET UG scores.
