Girls to boys ratio are quite good in jamia hamdard University in my class there are 22-25 girls and rest are the boys in the strength of 67 students Jamia hamdard have a diverse culture there are alot of students from Africa , malaysia , Dubai. Saudi , Jammu , Kashmir . There are no such marks given on the basis of attendance Students does not attend class regularly they mostly study at their room or they just chill in class or campus
Read Full ReviewThere are around 157 students divided in 3 sections I am in C section there are around 20 girls there are various students hail from different states including kashmir they all live together and with loving nature and yes there are student groups and take learning in groups and divide each others forte and help others learning I got good marks in each semester and yes students take class for learning but not so many students come with this perspective.
Read Full ReviewThere are around 40-45 students in my class currently and out of this there 13-15 are girls so i guess the ratio is 3:1 in favor of boys. If i talk about the overall college, there are definately more girls in different departments like pharma etc so i will assume the boys to girl ratio is almost 50-50. Most of the students are muslim but that doesnt affect the cultural diversity of the class. Some students are from kashmir some are from kerela some from asaam, basically all over india. Some students are also from foreign countries like iran, malaysia, saudi etc.
Read Full ReviewThere are about 60 people in my class and almost everyone is seated in the class for attendance..the girl boy ratio in my course is about 70:30..there are people in my college who are from different states of India, hence we have cultural diversity..most of the people including me attend classes for attendance cause the faculty teaching method is very poor excluding some of them.

So, you can do a Ph.D. in Medical Biochemistry if you have an MSc in Biochemistry. Naturally, you need to meet the other eligibility criteria.
MAIT is ranked 41st for BTech engineering by India Today, and Jamia is ranked 28th for engineering by the NIRF in 2020. The total seats for CSE in MAIT are 240 and Mechanical in Jamia has 70 seats. The yearly tuition fee at MAIT is 1.15 lakhs and Jamia is INR 12,000.
Admission:
Candidates need to sit for the JEE Main examination for entrance into any of the colleges.
For MAIT, students need to go through the GGSIPU counseling, and for Jamia, students need to go through the JMI Delhi counseling.

The placement percentage of CSE at MAIT is 90%.
The highest salary package is around 25 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA.
The average salary package is 4-5 LPA.
Reputed companies like TCS, Infosys, Amazon, Accenture, Microsoft, and Wipro come for recruitment.
JMI:
For mechanical, placements are quite good at Jamia.
The mechanical department has a placement record of 70-80%.
More than 40 companies come to recruit students each year.
The average salary offered is around 5 LPA, and the highest salary that was offered in 2019 was around 12 LPA.
The companies that come for recruitment are L&T, Supergas, Hero, Blue Star, TCS, Wipro, Saint Gobain, Cummins, Siemens, Maruti Suzuki, M and M, and Anglo-Eastern.
Infrastructure:
MAIT:
At MAIT, the student to faculty ratio is around 70:1.
The library is massive, having access to hundreds of volumes and papers.
There are five canteens on campus, and the college has several sports facilities, including an indoor badminton court.
JMI:
The mechanical department at Jamia has its library and well-equipped labs.
The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Medical facilities are available 24*7.
Each department organizes sports week, and the mechanical department also has separate canteens.
Although in terms of placements and infrastructure both the colleges are on par, there is a factor of affordability. Jamia has one of the lowest tuition fees in Delhi. However, the decision depends on the students who need to take everything from academics to cultural aspects of the colleges into consideration.
Jamia Hamdard's selection procedure for admission depends on the course and department. For courses like BA, BCA, BBA, and B.Com, admission is merit-based.
While admission to undergraduate engineering courses is through JEE Main. For medical courses like MBBS, B.Sc Nursing, BOT, BPT, and B.Pharm, admission is based on NEET UG scores.
