GGSIPU UG Admission 2026

At the UG level, GGSIPU has separate rules for engineering, medical, law, pharmacy, education, architecture, and computer application courses. B.Tech (Code 131) uses JEE Main rank only, MBBS and BDS use NEET UG counselling, and courses such as BCA, BALLB, B.Pharm, B.Ed, and B.Arch are covered through IPU CET.


GGSIPU B.Tech Eligibility and Selection

For regular B.Tech, students must clear Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and must hold a valid JEE Main 2026 rank. The required PCM aggregate is 55%. For lateral-entry B.Tech, a relevant engineering diploma with 60% marks is needed, and selection is through the lateral-entry IPU CET.

  • If seats based on JEE Main remain empty after all rounds, CUET UG merit is used for those vacant seats.
  • Students must register at ipu.admissions.nic.in for GGSIPU B.Tech counselling. College-level counselling is not allowed.
  • A student who appeared for JEE Main but did not appear for IPU CET can still apply for GGSIPU B.Tech.

GGSIPU MBBS and BDS Admission

GGSIPU affiliated medical colleges have 605 MBBS seats and 50 BDS seats across six medical colleges in Delhi. The 15% All India Quota seats are filled by MCC at mcc.nic.in. The 85% Delhi state quota seats are filled by DGHS Delhi.
