Course Details

IP University B.Pharm admission 2024 is open now. The last date to apply is March 31, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website @ipu.ac.in. The application fee is INR 1500. Admission to B.Pharm at IPU will be based on scores obtained in the IPU CET or CUET examination followed by counselling. IPU CET 2024 will be conducted between April 27 and May 14. IP University B.Pharm Eligibility

In order to be eligible for admission to B.Pharm at IPU, the Candidate shall have passed the 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

IP University B.Pharm Admission Guidelines

Admission to B.Pharm at IPU is based on scores obtained in the IPU Common Entrance Test (IPU CET). The university also accepts Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) scores for admission. The first preference will be given to IPU CET and national-level test scores for respective programs and CUET scores will be given second preference. Candidates who qualify the entrance exam will be called for counselling. Based on the cutoff released by the university, candidates will be allotted seats.

IP University B.Pharm Application Process

Steps to apply for the B.Pharm. program are mentioned below:

Visit the official website of IPU - ipu.ac.in
Go to the Admission Section on the homepage and click on “Apply Online”
Click on “IPU Registration” to proceed further
Click on “Fresh Candidate Registration” in order to signup at IPU admission portal
Read the terms and conditions carefully and click on “I Agree” to proceed further
Fill in the necessary details like Name, Mobile No, Email ID, and create your user id and password
Click on Submit button and you’ll be redirected to the login page
Now, log in using your user id and password
Fill the application form by providing General and Professional Information along with Payment details
Upload the scanned copies of the required documents
Verify the details you have provided in the form and check the Declaration box
Submit the application form and pay an application fee of INR 1500/- by Credit/ Debit Card or through Net-Banking
After fee submission, course details along with transaction ID will be displayed
Download and take a printout of the application form for further reference

CUET Application Process

Visit the official website cuet.samarth.ac.in.
Register by filling in all the required details. An application number and password will be generated and sent to your registered mobile no and email.
Login to your accounts using newly generated application number and password.
Fill the CUET application form by providing valid details.
Fill all the educational details and proceed towards filling university and program name.
Select the test paper/subject for the First & Second slot of CUET exam. It is advised to read the information bulletin of the respective University before test paper/subject selection.
Candidates can select the four cities as their CUET examination center on the basis of their preferences. Click the “save” button to proceed further.
Upload the supporting documents for the details mentioned in the application form. The documents need to be uploaded in the provided format.
View and update the application form before the application fee payment. Once all the details are verified check all the uploaded documents using the view button in the ‘Uploaded Scanned Files’ section.
Confirm their Email ID before proceeding with CUET Application Fee Payment.
Pay the application fee, The application form will be submitted on paying the fee.
Download the confirmation page for future reference.

Reservation policy

Defence and PWD candidates are eligible for a 5% relaxation according to Government.
OBC students are also eligible for reservation of seats.
Kashmiri Migrants have one seat reserved for them.

IP University B.Pharm Course Details

There is no specialization being offered under the B.Pharm. The seat intake for the course is 60. The syllabus is designed to contain the some of the following areas of Pharmaceutical stream:

The University has a Career and Placement guide cell that helps final year students to get recruited in the well-established companies. Choose MSIT if you want to prioritize degree value over cost. Otherwise, go with SRM. MSIT CSE placements are excellent, but if you live in a politically neutral environment with large campuses, consider SRM, Chennai. One of my friends had recently joined Thapar University and here are some of the facts about it that make it stand out among others. One of the best streams to pursue at Thapar University is CSE. The placements at Thapar are really good and most of the CSE students get placed. Some teachers are not very good with their teaching methods. One of the best professors at Thapar is Mannek sir, he is a mechanics teacher. One of the best things you will encounter while studying at Thapar University is the senior mentors. They are like siblings and help you with everything. The infrastructure is not very well developed yet, there are few buildings with air conditioning but unfortunately not all buildings. There is various student societies present which you can also join. Here are some reasons why: More focus is given on theoretical preparation than the practicals. Students often complain about the incomplete training. If you wish to learn about your course, it will not provide you with the satisfaction. Because mostly students tend to mug up last year’s questions and answer books. Scoring is easy even if you study only 2-4 days before the exam. The same 10-15 questions are repeated every year. If you want to build yourself, you mostly have to do it all on your own, because the college won't make much effort. Placements here are average. IPU receives IT firms most often with a package of INR 3.25 LPA. The only highlight of IPU is Microsoft. As a CS or IT, you will find it to your liking. In YMCA Amazon, Maruti, Adobe, Snapdeal, Yamaha, and many more reputed companies come to hire B.Tech graduates. Placement is what matters to most, however, it's not the only parameter of comparison but because YMCA tops in placements which is an essential factor nevertheless, it wins!
