IIT Patna has five hostels out of which four are Boys’ Hostels known as Halls of residence and located very close to the transit campus. There is a lush of greenery around the hostels.

List of IIT Patna Boys’ Hostels

Aryabhatta Hall – It is the first hostel of the college started in the year 2008. It is named after eminent mathematician-astronomer, Aryabhatta. The hostel has a capacity of accommodating 150 students.
Ashoka Hall – Ashoka hostel also has a capacity of accommodating 150 students.
Chanakya Hostel – This hostel is divided into two halls i.e. Chanakya Hall – I and Chanakya Hall – II.
NBH (New Boys Hostel)

IIT Patna Boys’ Hostels Facilities:

Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity
Health care facilities, all the students are covered under Vidyarthi Mediclaim Insurance Policy
Sports facilities including basketball court, a volleyball court, and badminton court
Indoor activities including Gymkhana, Indoor Badminton Court, music and dance hall and a yoga room
The students elect a student senate once every year in the month of February

Hostel have 2 lifts and 7 storey consisting of 4 block In one block 256 room was there and room was not suitable for 2 students but ok. And there are 2 chairs and each floor has water cooler and the washroom locality was not good at all but improving

In our institute main annual fest was Anwesha and it is generally conducted in January but this year it is in march and Celesta is the tech fest which was held last month. IIT Patna has very a good library consisting of more than 3000 books and many digital books The classroom was airconditioned and two big TV also installed for backbenchers students IIT Patna has a volleyball court, badminton court, lawn tennis, cricket ground, football ground, table tennis, gym etc Many different clubs like HOSCA for cultural things, vincetroke for painting, quiz club for quizzing, aria for singing

after getting mail through my college they provide us with a double bedroom in which we have an almirah, 2 chairs and a table. the quality of good in IIT patna sometimes in the week may be paratha, panner which is so delicious.

Campus Life:

campus life is amazing. after entering into it an annual techno-management fest is there whose name is celesta. every Jan it happens. we had a beautiful library also in which almost all the books we had. sports are mandatory in 1 year in this we have cricket, basketball, football etc. In 1 first year, some students had NSS in which they had to do some social work like giving education to children etc which is mandatory for NSS students.

One of the greatest cultural and management fests in entire northeast India in which students from all other iits and nits and also from top management colleges participate and the participation count is around 30k & name of the techno-management feast is Celesta which is also one of the greatest techno-management fests in entire northeast India, there is a library inside the campus where you will get all the good books and journals which are published around the world in digital or hard copy format, all the classroom are equipped with modern technology like ac, projector for displaying slides, animation, etc shown by the instructor, talking about sports facilities inside campus there is football ground, cricket ground, indoor badminton court, table tennis court, basketball court, lawn tennis court and swimming pool is under construction

Amazing placements, huge campus, great experience

Hostel Facilities:

There are two-seater rooms for boys and three-seater rooms for girls. Hostels have many facilities like washing machines, geysers, induction, and common rooms on each floor. Mess food is not good but canteens are there in operation at night also.

Campus Life:

There are many fests in our college like Anwesha (cultural fest), celesta (techno-management fest), and infinito (sports fest). There are clubs also for each hobby like dance, singing, acting, drama, etc.

Dream college IIT PATNA

Hostel Facilities:

There are three boys hostels and one girls hostel in iit patna. Hostels have 24*7 wifi facilities, LANs, common reading rooms on each floor, washing machines and mess. Quality of food in mess is good and variety in food is also available. Hostels and mess very are afforable .

Campus Life:

There are many fests in our college like anwesha which is one of the biggest cultural fests of India usually conducted in a month in march, celesta which is a techno-management fest of our college usually held in the month of December, and many more. There are many clubs in iit patna like aria (singing club), exousia (dance club), Ivanka (drama club), and many more. Clubs are very active and there are many events organized by these clubs. There is a huge library which has more than 10,000 books. There are specific grounds for each sport like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, etc.

Hostel Facilities:

Our rooms are very good and clean. We are provided with Wi-Fi and we have good cupboards with rich furniture. Meals are very hygiene. They provide different types of dishes daily. Like someday South Indian dishes and remaining days North Indian dishes. We should pay 17000 for the hostel and 15000 for the mess fee and submit a copy of the payment receipt at the hostel reception. Then they allot rooms. I was staying at the college hostels.

Campus Life:

Our classroom infrastructure is really good. we have good furniture for studying. We have a projector in the classroom through which they teach us in slides. They conducted INFINITO DJ NIGHT in November which we enjoyed a lot. We have a central library in which all course books are available. More than 30 types of newspapers are available to read we have all kinds of sports like volleyball, football, badminton, basketball, and cricket. etc and social services too. In my opinion, IIT Indore is much better as compared it IIT Patna. You will also find a really good functional programming group at IIT Indore. It also has a number of ACM ICPC contests that are enriched into you right from your junior year. The senior-junior interaction is also pretty great considering CSE. Here is some more information regarding IIT Indore: Location: IIT Indore is based in the industrial capital of Madhya Pradesh. You will find a number of IT companies including those like TCS and Infosys which are building large campuses in Indore. The food here is really good too. CSE Department: The department at IIT Indore is excellent. It has helped students partake in many worldwide coding competitions and they have qualified thrice for the finals in ACM ICPC. This clearly proves how good the coding culture at the department is. Campus: With an area of 510 acres, you will find that the campus has all the necessary infrastructure and there will be no dearth of necessities there. The course curriculum is great. It is easy to score decent CGPA as compared to other departments. There are two departmental labs. One of the labs has necessary instrumentation, to carry out the course work. The other is set up by Bosch to study engine ECUs. Placement for this branch is average.
