Dibrugarh University B.Ed Course Highlights

Dibrugarh University offers both B. Ed Honours and Non- Honours courses.
There are presently 100 seats in the course, of which 40 are reserved for the deputed teachers of the Government Secondary Schools of Assam and 60 for fresh students.
The final selection of the candidates is done based on the performance of the entrance examination and the interview of the candidates.
The varsity charges INR 16,760 for its B.Ed program.
The application form fee for Dibrugarh University B.Ed is INR 700.

Dibrugarh University B.Ed Eligibility Criteria

The aspirants of the B. Ed course must fulfill the following eligibility criteria in order to apply for the B. Ed course at Dibrugarh University.

Must have completed his/ her Class 10+2 examination in any stream from a Central/ State Board with a minimum of 50% marks.

Dibrugarh University B.Ed Exam Pattern

Candidates willing to take up the B. Ed course at Dibrugarh University will have to sit for an Entrance examination called Common Eligibility Test (CET). The exam pattern of CET is given below in the form of a Bulletin.

Common Eligibility Test is a Computer Based Examination, conducted by the National Recruitment Agency
It is conducted twice a year. The duration is of 120 hours.
There are four sections in the examination, each carrying 50 marks. The sections of the question paper are General Intelligence and Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language and Comprehension, General Awareness, and General Knowledge.
The full mark of the CET examination is 200 marks. There is no limit to the number of attempts, and there is no age bar.

If you focus on your studies and stay away from any mishappenings at the college you would be able to stay away from the troublemakers. During the first year, the students of all branches will have a common classroom for all subjects. It is from the 3rd semester that you will be well acquainted with respective branches. The teachers are very dedicated and cooperative and the classes are held regularly. Alongside academics, you would be left with enough time to excel through various extra-curricular activities. The annual tech fest “Auxesis” is held every odd semester and the University Week is held every even semester. The workload becomes exhausting during these semesters. The campus is serene and splendid. The greenery everywhere brings out the best of the serene beauty and creates an enthusiastic environment for studying. Overall, your college time here would be terrific. Everyone has their own individual perspective and opinions thus; your experience might be very much different and better too.
