Dibrugarh University BCA Admissions 2023 are open now. Admission to the program is based on Merit in the qualifying exam. The Last date to Apply for BCA is June 20, 2023.

Dibrugarh University, Assam offers a Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) as a UG degree program. The full-time BCA program is for a duration of 3 years which is divided into 6 semesters.

The minimum eligibility to apply for BCA is passing the 10+2 level examination with a minimum of 45% aggregate
Selection for the candidates is based on the merit list prepared by the university.
There is a 5% relaxation in marks for candidates from reserved categories.

Dibrugarh University BCA Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have passed the 10+2 level examination with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate and should have studied Mathematics/ Commercial Arithmetic/ Statistics as one of the subjects.
A relaxation of 5% marks is given to the students from reserved categories.

Dibrugarh University BCA Admission Guidelines

Admission to the BCA programme is on the basis of merit.

To fill the Application Form follow the details given below:

Visit the official Admission portal of Dibrugarh University.
Register by clicking on the “Register Button” provided on the Portal.
Provide your Mobile No. and set a password while registering. Your provided mobile no. will be verified through an OTP.
Login using the set Password.
Click on the “Apply” button Corresponding to the link of the desired program. The application form will open
Fill out the Application form carefully by providing all the necessary details.
Click on “Submit and Review”. Preview all the details carefully, if something is wrong, candidates are advised to correct it at this stage.
Click on “Pay Now and Submit the Application”, if you have carefully reviewed all the details.
An application fee of INR 750/- needs to be paid online through a Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking.
On successful payment of the Application fee, the Application form will be finally considered as Submitted.
Click on the “Download” button and download the Submitted Application form. Also, take the printout for future use.

Dibrugarh University BCA Course Details

The Bachelor of Computer Application programme is for a duration of 3 years which is divided into 6 semesters.

The coursework includes theory, practicals and tutorials. The courses offered in the programme include Core Courses, Elective Courses, and Ability Enhancement Courses (AECC). In the sixth semester, students will be given an option between Dissertation or Project work.

In the semester examinations students’ knowledge will be tested in both theory and practicals and the marks are given according to the credits decided of the particular paper.

During the first year, the students of all branches will have a common classroom for all subjects. It is from the 3rd semester that you will be well acquainted with respective branches. The teachers are very dedicated and cooperative and the classes are held regularly. Alongside academics, you would be left with enough time to excel through various extra-curricular activities. The annual tech fest “Auxesis” is held every odd semester and the University Week is held every even semester. The workload becomes exhausting during these semesters. The campus is serene and splendid. The greenery everywhere brings out the best of the serene beauty and creates an enthusiastic environment for studying. Overall, your college time here would be terrific. Everyone has their own individual perspective and opinions thus; your experience might be very much different and better too.
