I took my jee exam and my percentage is somewhere about 93 but it was not sufficient to get an ECE branch in a good college. So I tried in private colleges like CU, Thapar, and Chitkara and I was selected for all of them. But I choose Chitkara because of some reasons like fee placement ratio, Study-wise, and reviews. the admission process is very easy. you need not to give any exam, you can get direct addmission to any branch.
I like hardware and software both and this branch is the best for this. I like circuit and logic designing and building small robots. I can make my own microcontroller or even microprocessor if I have good knowledge of circuits. Small innovative ideas help me to build my own career. If the practical knowledge is more I think I can do a lot more better. the frequency of exams is 45-50 days and the timing of exams is 1.5-2 hours.
A few companies that come for internships in college are HCL, Infosys, some local companies, Tata, and many more. Some offered stipends and some not based on the student's skills. They gave some small projects or problems during internships and if the student is skilled he is in the technical group or else in management or other groups.
In 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. There are few companies like HCL, infoyses, etc. visited in campus during internships and placements. The placement percentage of collage is arround 70% and the average and highest package offered is 8lpa and 50lpa respectively. I plan to continue my study in Mtech and GATE preperation.
so the tution fee for my branch is 100000 per semester and I paid 20000 caution fees during the addmission which is refundable after completing my degree. the registration fee is somewhere about 1000 Rs during application filling and there is no other charge. The tution fees for all my batchmates is the same. But my college provides some amount of scholarship or financial aid to some financially weak students and there is no need for merit papers for this scholarship. They provided directly.
There are a total of 8-10 events and festivals held on campus. Most of the festivals are held between feb-April and August-October. Events like DJ night, party night, Movie promotions, etc. held. Labs are provided to us for performing the experiments. There are extracurricular activities like sports, music, acting, dance, etc. offered by the college and competitions are organized from time to time for that. There are several social groups and clubs run by students and any student can join any club.
the basic things like mattresses, cooler, dustbin are provided in room. the quality of food provided to us in mess is good and the manu changes every month. You can apply for hostel through online site run by collage. The total fees of hostel including mess and londary is 67000 per month which is more cheaper than the local rented room and PGs.
so the total strength of students in my batch in 60 students only and total faculty for us is around 20 teachers so the ration is 1:3. but the behavior of our fculty teachers is friendly that is a very good point. so i like all my faculty members. There are total 2 exams except end sem. and the level of exam is moderate. Around 5-10 students fail to clear the exam.
The placements here are average to good which totally matters to the students like ive seen people getting no placements at all to people getting placements of 18 LPA in second year only it totally matters on the student

One thing good about chitkara university is its placements, one thing it is famous for. But do we get placements after this? The answer is maybe. If your cgpa is up to the notch and you have knowledge you can definitely get a placement. But if you are an average student it's very hard to get a good placement. The average packages are also not much. They provide you with internships but again, the money isn't that good until and unless you are an excellent student of this subject.
All I have heard is that the students become eligible for campus placements is after 7th semester of their course. Sum of the companies that visit the college are Amazon, Google, Jio, Reliance, Infosys, Rapido etc. The highest package recently was 50 lpa and the average package is around 8 to 10 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements is around 80 to 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to find a good pain job of around 8 to 10 lakh per year.
As there are batches like S60 and uniques in it. These batches help students to prepare for industry levels. These also have separate fully furnished rooms with the best workstations for each student so that students can learn easily. The syllabus is up to date.
