Will XLRI Delhi have the same placement like XLRI Jamshedpur?
Posted On - May 31, 2021It is highly unlikely that XLRI Delhi will be able to replicate the level of success in terms of placements that XLRI Jamshedpur has achieved. XLRI Jamshedpur has a rich history and reputation, having been established for over 70 years. The brand value that has been built up over this time cannot be replicated overnight, or even in a few years, by simply opening a new center.
Additionally, the decision to open a new campus in Delhi may be viewed as a whimsical decision made by the current XLRI administration, without fully considering the implications and potential challenges of such a move. Building a reputation and brand value takes time and effort, and cannot be achieved through shortcuts or quick fixes. It is important for XLRI Delhi to focus on building its own reputation and brand value, rather than trying to replicate the success of XLRI Jamshedpur.
This can be done by providing high-quality education, fostering a strong sense of community among students and faculty, and developing partnerships with leading companies in the industry. It is also important for XLRI Delhi to establish its own unique identity and not to be seen as a mere replica of XLRI Jamshedpur.
Even though the XLRI board will make all the efforts to ensure good placements in XLRI Delhi, it’s less likely that placement at XLRI Delhi will be similar to XLRI Jamshedpur because of the following reasons.
- Recognition and brand value of XLRI Jamshedpur is stronger than XLRI Delhi and hence most of the companies go with the industrial reputation of XLRI Jamshedpur and hence a new institute like XLRI can’t match that.
- One of the major factors on which placement depends is the quality of the batch. XLRI Jamshedpur attracts a better batch quality than XLRI Delhi.
- XLRI Jamshedpur has well-established management to conduct the placement programs which is missing in XLRI Delhi.
For these reasons, XLRI Delhi may not have similar placement offers as XLRI Jamshedpur, at least for few years.
