If you are facing a decision between different colleges, you are recommended to join LNMIIT.
While IIIT Vadodara may seem like an obvious choice, it does not yet have its own campus, and its curriculum is still unstable. Additionally, its placement record is not great. Therefore, IIIT Vadodara may not be the best option for you.
Thapar is a decent college with good infrastructure and facilities, but its student quality may not be as high as you would like. Half of the seats are reserved, and the competition for placements can be tough due to the high student intake. Furthermore, Thapar's reputation has been declining in recent years.
On the other hand, LNMIIT is an excellent choice. There are no reservations, and the number of seats is limited. You can check the college's website for information on placements and other important details. So if you want to make a wise choice, LNMIIT is your best bet.
The ‘IIIT’ tag definitely has an influence. CSE at IIIT would have been undoubtedly better but at the moment they have a flawed infrastructure. In terms of faculty, the number is quite less and they are not as experienced and highly qualified as in other IIITs. At the moment they are still under development and taking admission here would be putting your career at risk.
TIET is a renowned institution. In the past 5-10 years it was considered as a top option by many students as the quality of education here was an exception. In recent years, the quality of their education has gone downhill. The classrooms are filled with students but the knowledge imparted is not up to the mark. There are over 1000 students in the computer science branch itself.
LNMIIT is an esteemed institution in this league. They have a highly experienced faculty with better placement opportunities. The campus environment is pleasant too. They also offer good placement opportunities. According to the recent trend, the average and highest CTC offered at LNMIT is 10 LPA and 36 LPA.
Among the three institutes going for LNMIT will be better.
