Course Structure
M. Tech. Mining Engineering is a 2 year course divided into 4 semesters. The marks of the students are based on their performances in Theory exams, Industrial training, Seminar /viva-voce, Dissertation and Teaching assignment/ Lab work.
The course is designed in a way which has all essential topics of waste management, mine closure and types of industrial disputes in accordance to Mining Engineering.
The scheme of assessment for M. Tech. Mining Engineering is 60% weightage of externals and 40% weightage of internals.
Syllabus
Subjects included in the syllabus cover concepts of equipment reliability, design and safety and risk factors in Mining Engineering with personnel management subjects as well.
The subject has elective subjects like geo-informatics, surface mine planning, underground planning etc.
