There is no specific winner. Both Malda Medical College (MMC) and KPC Medical College have their advantages and disadvantages, and both fall under the same bracket. The better choice will be to compare them based on the location that is near to your home.
The following are some of the comparison points.
Overall, choose the college that is near you.
Malda Medical College is not considered the worst medical college. There are no best or worst government medical colleges in India. There is a system of rotation of faculties among colleges in West Bengal. So, you do not have an academic disadvantage.
As per reviews from senior students, the faculties in Malda Medical College are excellent. But the drawback is the lack of exposure in Kolkata.
There is a decent influx of patients in the hospital. So, it is not a huge concern. The students in Malda are competitive and bright minds. They clear the national level exam, NEET-UG, cut-offs for admission.
Overall, being in a Government Medical College (GMC) is the best if you are ready for MBBS.
According to the reviews, I read online, the USA, Malaysia, Singapore, etc are some of the countries that acknowledge the dental, or the medical degree offered by Kasturba Medical College. If you plan to move out of the country then Kasturba Medical College can be a good option for you. You will be able to follow through on your plans with ease.
Malda Medical College is one of the worst colleges for pursuing medical. It was previously a district health care hospital and there were no plans of turning it into a medical college. It lacks proper medical equipment. The students of this college are people who do not have the money and did not achieve the rank required for studying in government medical colleges.
Malda Medical College is a government institute approved by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS). Usually, all UG programs are equivalent, but Malda Medical College is one of the excellent medical schools in India.
Based on all these factors, I will suggest that you go to Malda Medical College if you have the option to join.
The answer for this question depends on your perspective. If you are a resident of Malda, whether you are from a more developed area and the lifestyle you are used to.

Lastly, it can be said that you can only trust homemade food as the food quality in the canteen is very bad. The campus is not that big and there is not even a playground on the campus. Also, the faculty are rotated in all the medical colleges of West Bengal so you will never find a professor in the college all the time.
