Established in 1965 as Nagarjuna Sagar Engineering College by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, the college was initially affiliated to Osmania University. Later, it became a constituent college of JNTU Hyderabad and was renamed as JNTU College of Engineering, Hyderabad.
College of Engineering, Jagitial (CEJ) was established in 2007 as a constituent college of JNTUH, with an intake of 60 in each branch of engineering and a total of 300 students in five different branches viz. CSE, IT, ECE, EEE & ME.
- The university offers B.Tech in CSE, IT, ECE, EEE & ME and M.Tech in CSE, IT, ECE-DSCE, EEE-Power Systems, ME-Engineering Design.
- Admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) program is based on marks secured by the candidate in TS EAMCET counseling.
- TS EAMCET is a state-level entrance exam organized by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad on behalf of Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).
- TS EAMCET application fee for general candidates is INR 500 and INR 250 in case of SC/ST candidates.
- Fee payment can be done through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking and UPI only.
- Admission to M.Tech program is based on GATE scores or marks scored in TS PGECET, conducted by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad.
- TS Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) is conducted by Osmania University on behalf of TSCHE.
- TS PGECET application fee for general candidates is INR 800 and INR 400 for SC/ST candidates.
