Course Curriculum Overview:

I always want to discover new things around me. I have the desire to know how electronic devices work, and what concept is behind them. So I choose the course. Specifically, in our department, there are around 40 faculties and 160 students in our batch. The faculties easily deal with us like a friend. Not only the course lessons but also gave us lessons about life. Most of the faculties have their PhD degree and teaching experience of more than 5 years. Each semester has a duration of at least 5 months, and the exam level is moderate. For a mediocre student, it is not too hard to pass the exam, but to score very good marks, the student should study seriously.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interested in doing engineering so I opted for B.Tech in ECE. I like coding and technology like data transmission satellite communications etc. Faculty: student ratio in our college is around 1:40. Faculty members are mostly M.Tech and also many are Ph.D. and many are pursuing Ph.D. They have good knowledge and the way they teach is awesome. One can understand easily if they have basic knowledge of 11th -12th. There are semester exams every 6 months. One can pass by reading class notes and also you have to attend regular classes.

I chose the course because of my interest in computers and software. The college as well is very good with good professors and placement. There are specified professors and assistant professors for every subject and the student-teacher ratio is 1:40 which is good for the overall development of every student. The teaching method is good with more emphasis on practical rather than bookish knowledge. Internal examinations are held every month with a semester exam every 6 months and you need to study all year round to be able to pass the examination.

Narula Institute of Technology - [NIT Agarpara]: 7 answered questions

Ques
How are placements of Narula Institute of Technology, Kolkata?

● Top Answer By Shubham kumar on 15 May 21

Ans
My brother is a 2020 pass out from Narula Institute of technology. According to his experience, when it comes to placement, Narula Institute of Technology is not quite up to the mark. TCS, Tech Mahindra, and ITC Infotech are the only three reputable IT companies that came for placement drives, and they take only a handful of students from all departments (mostly from CSE, IT & ECE).  Some local startup companies visit the campus, and once you learn about the salary packages the students are offered, you will definitely lose interest. TCS is a mass recruiter and still, they hired not more than 5 students altogether from every department. CSE students tend to get slightly better placement opportunities than other departments. Categories Narula Institute of Technology Kolkata Course Fee 3.08-4.08 lakh Placement Percentage (overall) 40-50% Highest CTC 10 PA Average CTC 4.5 LPA If you have already taken admission in Narula, then it is too late. However, if you are planning to go there, then it is suggested not to take admission.

● Top Answer By Sandip Pal on 29 May 21

Ans
One of my friends studied atthe Narula Institute of Technology. He mentioned some things that make the college stand out which include -  Faculty: All members are experienced and talented in their fields. They are helpful and cooperative.  Infrastructure: It is very beautiful and this place is very peaceful. Some kind of activity or program is held every week inside the campus. It is now under JIS University, so you can easily get admitted here.  Categories Narula Institute of Technology Course Fee (approx.) 3.08 - 4.08 lakh Placement Percentage (overall) 50-70% Highest CTC 13.38 LPA Average CTC 7.225 LPA Recruiting Companies L&T, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, etc. It now depends on you how you can take advantage of these opportunities and be a better version of yourself.

● Top Answer By Sudhanshu Khanna on 25 May 21

Ans
If we talk about the best engineering college for CSE among Brainware or Narula Institute of Technology, then NIT is best due to the following reasons: NIRF Ranking: The institute has been constantly ranked among NIRF rankings for the last four years. It offers a plethora of opportunities to students and many different courses. Scholarships offered: NIT offers various scholarships to the students like the Sitaram Jindal scholarship, Pragati and Saksham scholarship, SVMCM scholarship, Priyamvada Birla scholarship, Vidyalaxmi scholarship, OASIS scholarship, Kanyashree k2 scholarship, and many others. The training and placement cell at NIT conducts various seminars, workshops, aptitude tests, and many grooming sessions to enhance your skills for the various interviews. It will give industrial knowledge and hands-on experience to all the students. Narula Institute of Technology is best if you are enrolling for CSE. Ques
Which college is better among JIS NARULA DR Sudhir Chandra or Guru Nanak of Kolkata for CSE?

● Top Answer By Bhavna Jha on 13 Oct 21

Ans
JIS College of Engineering, Kalyani is the best place to study in West Bengal. Following are the reasons to choose this college: New courses, such as Speakers Corner and British Council, are introduced to help students develop completely.  In addition, flip learning has been introduced. You will learn topics by being exposed to visuals.  Classroom interiors have been modified.  In addition, the examination pattern has shifted. There is no internal examination. Instead, you'll be asked to create a PowerPoint presentation on a course-related topic. Semesters are still in place to ensure that you maintain control over your writing.  However, previously passed students have complained that an informal setting for an educational institution is not appropriate. As students are eventually not properly trained to work in corporate environments which might hamper their placement opportunities and performance in internships.

Ques
How is Narula Institute of Technology, Agarpara?

● Top Answer By Priyam Chowdhury on 28 Jun 21

Ans
People think NIT Agarpara is a National Institute of Technology but actually, it is Narula Institute of Technology, a TIER 5 Private Engineering College. One of my friends got passed out from this college and I would like to share his experience with you. Getting admission to the institute is not that tough. They do conduct an entrance test but it is quite easy. He told me that, the faculty of the CS department was quite helpful but can’t say the same about other departments’ faculty. Language can be a barrier if you do not know Bengali. Further, the placement in CS/IT industry was decent and many got placed including my friend with an approximate initial package of 3 LPA in the service-based industry. It is pretty much an average college in all other regards. So, this was all the data from my side about Narula Institute of Technology, Agarpara. I hope you got some clarification about the college. At last, it is all upon you to choose.

Ques
I have taken admission in the Narula Institute of Technology, Kolkata in information technology branch. Will I able to get a job, because I have less than 60 in the 12th board and I'm a dropper too?

● Top Answer By Pratiksha Patwari on 13 Jul 21

Ans
Yes, you can get a good job offer. But NIT will have little to do with that, it entirely depends on how much effort you will put in If you find yourself having difficulty in getting along with the faculty then there are always coaching classes you can attend after college. The internet also can be a big help. If your performance in a semester does not meet your expectations, do not lose heart and have faith in your abilities. Learn from your mistakes and try to do better in your next semester. You mostly have to have knowledge of the programming languages, have aptitude skills, and prowess in English. The companies visiting the college to offer jobs to its students do not care about how much they got in their 10(+2) board examinations but they do not recruit in large numbers as they are not MNCs. According to the recent placement statistics the average and highest CTC offered at the institute is 3.5 LPA and 10 LPA.
